I couldn't figure out how to edit my first post even though I edited last night! Is this forum a one edit per post kind of deal? Anyways...

05/11 - check requested/processed
05/21 - received (no tracking)

They want my bank account statement to scan and print is that legit/safe to do? The fee was around 130.

Hey all,

Longish time Bovada player, never had to deposit except for my initial one a couple years back. Got drunk and blew my roll.

Is it the same process for American players, where I have to buy gift cards in some convoluted process to re-up?

I wouldnt. Nobody can tell you if it is safe because nobody knows. Plus I am almost 99.99% sure it wasnt them that charge you. Gemaco is right on. If your bank got fraud protection than do it. If not than I don't think 130 is worth it.

Send via WU or MG. Other option is a visa that works international. Best option is visa connected to checking acct.

I take it then that Master Card connected to checking account won't work. I've got no Visa.

MG and WU are so much more work. Sigh.

Worrying about your bank information getting stolen is pointless. I've had my debit card information stolen probably half a dozen times across two major banks. Had a temporary card next day, real card by end of week, never lost a dime.

Thought this thread was more appropriate for this topic...

I deposited $220 today. But if I want to get more of the 100% bonus, can I deposit $500 more and then instawithdraw it for a check (or however they withdraw, haven't looked into it too much) or do I have to play with that $500 first? Obv leaving $220 on there.

Not all banks are created equal. Worrying about your money is pointless? Must not have much to worry about then.

Been away from the game a while, and the last time I processed a payout it was by check. What's this VFF option, and what's the good and bad that comes with it?

Just an option to have the money withdrawn deposited back on the card you used to deposit, so it goes back into your bank account if you used a debit card. On average seems to take 5-7 business days with the one free cashout every month.

Haven't really heard of any negatives about it so far.

when I try to deposit using my debit card which is linked to my bank account, it always get declined. How are some of u guys able deposit that way?

Ive been using Netspend but its a bit of a hassle, is there a way to have my debit card enabled?

Guys help me out here so you get one payout sent every 7 days but say I just got a payout processed friday and want to play today and if I happen to win and request a payout it'll still get approved within 24-48 hours but won't get sent out and processed until 7 days from this past Friday correct? Just wanted to verify w others who've done this and make sure that they don't make you wait until the 7th day to approve the payout and take the money out of your account. Let me know please ? Thank ya

Some banks will work some banks dont. Ive had luck with more local/regional banks although the bank im with now is a national one. Just a trial and error game I guess.

If it's declined, the money just goes back to your Bovada account, correct?

It depends what kind of payout you are requesting. If Visa fast funds, they wait until 7 days from Friday until processing and taking the money out of your account. All other payout methods (check, wire, etc.) they process immediately and delay sending. I'm not sure why that payout method is different.

Thanks man, I've been using checks so far, unfortunately my bank who's a decent big south eastern bank offers a debit card on in MC not visa , so I can't get VFF. Anyone have good experience with bank wires? Are the ETA's fairly the same?
