Just an update, Shortly after posting this I did receive a tracking number to my Bovada inbox. According to the Tracking information it looks like it went out today (the 14th of April) and is scheduled to be here tomorrow by 10:30 Am (4/15)
I'll update with how the depositing goes.
New Question: I know Bovada suggests depositing directly through ATM which is what I plan on doing, but I wonder, Has anyone ever used their banks phone app to take pictures of the check and deposit it that way? I wonder if it would be a problem being that it's from up north apparently.

Checks from up north have one less digit in their account numbers, so they mostly likely won't work in ATMs, and also can't be deposited via phone apps. You'll have to get a teller to deposit it. If you get one from the far east, phone app will probably work.

Are you sure about that? Bovada specially suggests using the ATM directly and not the teller- Why would they suggest that if they knew it wouldn't work through the ATM?
Most ATM's cant read "Foreign Items". Checks that have 8 digit RTG numbers cannot be read. However, far east checks have been reported to work in ATMs and phone apps.
Does anyone know if FedEx will leave a check if you are not able to be home when they deliver? I put a note on the door with my signature, hopefully they leave it.
Tried to deposit via the mobile app and was told It wouldn't work and I would have to go in. Went through drive through Teller. Woman kind of gave me a bit of an attitude and asked me if I even had a debit card and could have done this through the ATM or mobile app. What she didn't realize is I had already tried that and because the routing number was not recognized, the ATM and Mobile app would not work.
I didn't want to give any extra info like " well guess what betch? if you looked, you would see it is an international check and if you knew your banks policy, international checks are not accepted through the mobile app or ATM. So I just smiled and said " oh ok " like I wasn't aware that was an option.
She then went on to ask me if I wanted to set up a direct deposit for this account- and held up the check. I'm not sure why she asked me that or if that is standard when receiving another bank's check- or if it was a type of 'gotcha' question or not... But I just said " no thank you" .. and she looked at me a bit perplexed and repeated " NO?" - She sighed and said " oook.. Here's your receipt" sounding like she was a bit annoyed... Maybe it was all standard and I'm just reading too much into it but it definitely wasn't as simple as " here's my check and my account number. .deposit please.. have a nice day"..
But the money is in my account now without any real big headaches.
...And if I do have to speak to a teller, any suggestions on what to say the check is for if they should ask?
Sometimes the teller will make a comment about it being Canadian and fish for information a little. I just say online marketing. The checks generally have some sort of "marketing company" name at the top.

Did you change bank accounts or just the name? Kind of surprised they'd allow just changing the beneficiary name on the same bank account if they're not a signer on the account.
