i cashed out again on 12/3 for $3000 12/4aproved they took $50 fee and i emailed them on 12/11 asking has my check been sent? they emailed me stating its been approved and im on the 5th buisiness day out of 4-7 days i should recieve one anytime.

Then today 12/15 i waited no mail so I emailed them again asking have it been sent. They said it already has been processed. So what does that mean? I asked if they sent it not if they processed it. Does this mean its sent. Or does processed means approved I thought thats what it meant

Just relax. Your check isnt even one minute late yet. It will probably arrive sometime this week. Its not a perfect science. You got your first check in two days. Ive been getting checks almost monthly for years. Ive never received one in much less than a week from time I requested. Times will vary but they always pay you.

Processed means that they have sent the request to their payment processor to mail the check. From that point, the customer service people don't know anything until the processor sends them the tracking info (which they *usually* send to you in your Bovada messages).

I spoke to customer service on the phone to alleviate concerns but I have two checks that have not arrived: 11/28 and 12/3 process dates. I've never had issues with bovada in the past but this is by far the longest I've had to wait for a check.

I got by check very quickly and deposited it through the ATM. I got a call this morning by my bank telling me that there will be a fee for cashing an international check and plus 6-8 week wait time while its in collection. I've heard about this happening so I asked them to stop the process and hold my check so i can pick it up.
I then called Bovada CS and told them the situation, but they said I should just be patience and wait it out. screw that.

My bank is a local credit union. Will a bigger bank be better?
Anyone have a good experience cashing 1,000 or bigger check at uh... that big blue one? you know, charlie sheen and buffy the vampire slayer. 90's flick?

Was planning on making a deposit using my CC (C1 - Samuel L. Jackson). Anybody run into any issues using that?

Also, if I want to cash out, I can request via check, right? I don't have to have it go back to my CC I hope.

Thanks in advance.

When they had the black Friday reload a few weeks ago I maxed out with 2k in deposits.it took me 5 cards to get 2 approved.

Why wouldn't you want them crediting your credit card back if you make a withdrawal?

That's way better than a check.I wish I had that option.

How would I get that money back from the CC though, into real cash. I usually have my CCs paid off, so I'm not sure how that would work.

I pay mine off every month too.I'd either just spend money against the credit on the account or ask the cc company for a check.way less bs at the bank than dealing w bodog checks.

i requested 7k wire transfer 1 mo and 9 days ago. was processed on nov 12th. still nothing.

i have no idea what to do -- bovada is playing dumb, they keep asking me to send my bank statements (which I have done multiple times), insist that i have the receiving bank trace the funds (which they won't do for incoming wires), and assuring me my funds are safe despite the fact that they say as far as they can tell it was processed over a month ago.

this is freaking ridiculously frustrating. is there anything i can do - or am i helpless in this situation? would bovada really just steal my $$ like that?

Yes bigger bank will be better. Or at least it should be. I tried depositing at my credit union atm and was called the next day with a 8-12 week wait for collections. I ended up picking it up and took it to the other bank you mentioned instead. They deposited it fine and said as long as it's below 5k there are no issues because it is in US funds. The teller mentioned something about why credit unions take so long, but I dont remember exactly.

Had the fedex envelope by 12/16.

I searched online for an entire day for banks that can process Canadian checks without it going to collections. There weren't any near my location so I had to go back to my credit union. bummer. Now i have to wait a couple months before its cleared. But I did find out some info.

Many American banks cannot process Canadian checks, even if its in USD.
When you deposit the check, it goes from your Bank->Collections->Your bank. I think they have to physically send the check to collections and is probably the main reason for the long wait. Most bank have told me 6-8 week processing time, but I've read that some people had it cleared in only few weeks.

The banks that can clear these checks without any issues are obviously Canadian affiliated banks. However, they have to be able to do cross border banking into Canada. Its not the same if that bank is just owned by a Canadian parent bank. I found that most of these are located on east coast and some near the northern border states.

This is the last time i do a check payout. Back to getting butt raped with fees doing rapid transfer.

FWIW its just a matter of policy thats all. ^^^

My bank took my foreign checks without collections for years. This year they changed their policy. Now all foreign checks are supposed to go through collections. Its not that they cant deal with the check, they just choose not to because of fraud concerns or whatever. Any foreign check I can get into the ATM avoids collections and clears perfectly fine still, simply because it avoids tellers that are enforcing their collections policy.

So if you have a zero balance on ur CC and continue withdrawing to your CC. The CC company can cut you checks for that amount?

Why not just use your check card (you know the normal ones with a visa logo)?

Then the money essentially just goes into your checking and savings.

How long are the bank wires taking about? Also, how can I get the option for the withdrawal back to my card? I've been using the same card to deposit for a while if that matters.

First check, Bovada didn't require any info from me. Deposited to my local bank where I do all my business (and have no fee foreign transactions, I'll let you know how that works out). Went right to the teller, she processed it, smiled, looked up to me and said, "this may take a little while to clear." I smiled back at her and said, "no problem sweetheart."

I'll let you know when it clears.
Cleared! Love my bank...

within 10days $ was returned to my account less $40 for cancelation fee. Happy to have the $ back and Bovada was quick to respond to any questions.
