NFL SEASON

they see a huge increase in cashout requests this time of year and unfortunately there are times where you will find yourself at the end of a long line and may end up waiting a bit longer than the estimated time frame.

if you hit like 3 or 4 weeks waiting and havent received an update...then maybe its worth posting. but less than 2 weeks? come on people.

My guess is this is all in your heads, or you guys who complain have banks with terrible customer service.

I have been depositing checks for 8 years from many different countries, companies, style checks, etc. and at MOST a few times I was asked what they were ... and its just them making small talk, it doesn't matter what it's for .. its none of their business as long as your not doing anything illegal or against their regulations (your not).

If you have a bank that is giving you a "hassle" when your conducting business with them, then switch banks.
It's all risk/reward for the banks. If you've been a customer for 15 years, and have had tens of thousands of dollars in your account the entire time, they're not going to think twice about depositing a foreign check for you. If you just opened your account yesterday with the $50 minimum deposit, and now want to come in and get cash for your $3,000 check from a foreign country (which they can't verify the validity of for a couple of weeks), then you're probably SOL.

FWIW, I'm more in the first camp, and I've only been asked any questions once (out of probably a dozen poker checks), and it was only "Have you deposited a check like this before?". And that was probably moreso because the teller wasn't sure what she was doing. Every single other time has been "Thank you for doing business with us. Have a nice day."

The far east checks have always taken 7-14 days and the north checks have always been less than a week.

Got my check today after it was approved the 14th. Also today got the tracking number.. The cashout was 9 or so business days to get to my house I think. Main issue I have is the tracking number stuff. I have yet to get my tracking number in a decent time frame where ill be able to use it to track. It usually takes the same amount of time to get it as it does to get the check. Almost pointless they even give me one. Once the check clears ill let you guys know. Depositing tommorow.

I'm curious if there is a correlation between waiting times and how active/old your account is. It's possible once your on the site for a certain amount of years and/or if you rake a certain amount per year that they expedite your payout.

Same here, and it's been a lot longer than past checks or even recent requests from others in this thread.

I called them up, and maybe this will help you as well.

I was originally just gonna cancel the check and run it up to cashout wire levels.

But they said that the check was sent out on the 21st. I was like bro, that was quite some time ago. They said it hasn't been 7 business days and to relax.

They also said that DHL was delivering it.

I have always had FedEx deliver, never dhl. And fedex has always delivered canadien. So maybe this one's from the east and thats why the delay? They also said no tracking info as of yet.

Hope that helps.

its a business so i'd imagine the most valuable customers get treated as such.

We all know that Bovada doesn't value grinders who cash out.

There is no correlation between account age and cash out time, it just matters where the checks are coming from. It looks like most people are getting checks from the East now which have always taken much longer.

My account is so old, it's just a 6 digit number. Been playing high volume cash (for bovada standards) since roughly '05. My check this month is going on 14 days since processing. I think it's just the worst time of year for payouts.

Has anyone tried using the Mobile Deposit feature that is available through most banks now? Proximity to an ATM is a little bit of an issue for me but do not know if I should give it a shot.

So as of today Bovada has stopped accepting WU as a form of deposit or withdrawal.

Is this bad for the future of American players there?

I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. It's Bovada taking the precautions they think necessary. Over the years wu has been cracking down on accounts they believe are used for gaming or other activities against their TOS.

I have deposited on Bovada via debit card and credit card. When I checked the cash out option I only see visa card as the option. How do I know which card I'm cashing out to? It doesn't specify. I want to cash out to my debit card, but don't see how I can choose

It really wasn't . . . checks coming from east right now and like previous poster noted, unless its been 3-4 weeks since being processed, I wouldn't worry. Maybe others' checks were sent to different processor, or it's bc of varying locations within the US. Even then, just give them a buzz.

People itt making reads based on minute sample sizes is like forming your opinion of a player after only seeing them play a few hands. Just because Bovada no can't accept WU/MG on a given day, or your check takes 2 more days than usual to clear at the bank you deposited, it doesn't logically follow that the operations of a large international gaming company have been significantly altered somehow. Sample Size

The default is for them to use the card you most recently used to deposit. If you want to use a different one that you may have used earlier, you need to call them.
