You're playing from a state you probably shouldn't be so you don't have much choice but to roll with the punches. I know that sucks to hear, but you're lucky you can even play on Bovada.
It's also been mentioned numerous times in this thread, but everyone has friends or relatives in other states..... Very few have the issues you have, think about it.
How would that work? They would be sending the check to your name in their address or the check will go to one of their names and their address and then they transfer the money to you by either bank transfer or check? How would you even supply proof of address? Surely no one is getting a new id etc to do that. The only thing i can think of is they change their bank acct details to that other address in online banking and mail bovada a copy of that? The issue with this however is if you are withdrawing from another site like WPN, you dont want checks sent there as well and prefer your ny location.
Because bovada seems to be great in that you could withdraw 3k max via check and do 1 every week if i recall and the fee is only 50 dollars for 2nd, 3rd check etc... is this still true now for those who could request checks?
Being from NY, and having withdrawn my balance, basically i can't even play there anymore. The table limit however was pretty bad but i understood why they do that.
Also why is it bovada can't send checks to NY or those other states whereas Winning Poker Network, 5dimes, Betonline seem to have no issues with NY. Seems to be it should be all sites or no sites at all.
