Try a couple more times. Doesn't always work first time.

Also make sure you check your balance before you try again...I'm no longer able to make deposits on bovada, (New Jersey) but I remember distinctly several times I would deposit. It would say declined eventhough the transaction went through. I would refresh my balance and the funds would be there and it would also be debited from my account.

Invest in a NetSpend Visa Gift Card. It is the safest way to deposit. Bovada will never have your actual debit card info. You can purchase one at any CVS. There is a one-time $4.95 fee and it is re-loadable ($3.95 each time)..The fee's suck, but it is well worth it. They look like this:

If the card you have won't work call the card issuer and make sure international transactions are enabled. If they are and it still doesn't work call Bovada. Sometimes when they run the cards it works.

hey guy ive deposited checks before, just got one and took it to my bank and she said she ran it 3 times but it shows that someone already "presented" the check, meaning she said i or someone else already tried to deposit this check which is not true. I recd it about a week ago. Did i wait too long, any suggestions? thanks

Full of hotties and every time I walked in they would say "The money man is back". Made me feel baller.

I'm guessing the mass transfers to and from a 3rd world country to different people each time was setting off red flags at the original store.
not only am i banned from using wu anywhere, i also managed to get my last name which is very uncommon banned as well

On multiple levels, you're doing it wrong.

I've deposited and cashed checks multiple times and am at the bank (the 🇺🇸 one) now and they are sending it to collections..something about many fraudulent checks coming from Canada. Hope this problem isn't on Bovada's end.

You're playing from a state you probably shouldn't be so you don't have much choice but to roll with the punches. I know that sucks to hear, but you're lucky you can even play on Bovada.

It's also been mentioned numerous times in this thread, but everyone has friends or relatives in other states..... Very few have the issues you have, think about it.

How would that work? They would be sending the check to your name in their address or the check will go to one of their names and their address and then they transfer the money to you by either bank transfer or check? How would you even supply proof of address? Surely no one is getting a new id etc to do that. The only thing i can think of is they change their bank acct details to that other address in online banking and mail bovada a copy of that? The issue with this however is if you are withdrawing from another site like WPN, you dont want checks sent there as well and prefer your ny location.

Because bovada seems to be great in that you could withdraw 3k max via check and do 1 every week if i recall and the fee is only 50 dollars for 2nd, 3rd check etc... is this still true now for those who could request checks?

Being from NY, and having withdrawn my balance, basically i can't even play there anymore. The table limit however was pretty bad but i understood why they do that.

Also why is it bovada can't send checks to NY or those other states whereas Winning Poker Network, 5dimes, Betonline seem to have no issues with NY. Seems to be it should be all sites or no sites at all.

I am in a state where it is not illegal to play on Bovada, and still can't get bank wires. I'm pretty sure there are other people in my state (Illinois) that can get bank wires. How would you suggest I go about getting one? Bovada keeps giving me different excuses like my account is too new (~2 years old) or they don't allow bank wires in my location (which I'm pretty sure is BS because they keep changing their excuse).

Obviously I could just start an account with a new bank here, but it would be easier (and probably less suspicious) to use a bank account I've had for a while, rather than one I just opened and filled with Bovada deposits. That is why I am wondering if I could just use the address of a branch in a tolerated state. I will have to call my bank tomorrow and ask I guess.
Please PM me if you get an answer to this too!

The answer is that for the purposes of a bank wire it doesn't really matter which bank branch address you give. All that really matters is your name, account number, and either the routing number of swift code (depending on whether it is a domestic or international wire).

HOWEVER, I have been told by Bovada that the bank address needs to be a local branch, not the bank headquarters or an out of state branch. They have told me that if the bank does not have a local branch in my area (as was the case for me), I should open an account with a bank that does.

Are you saying someone could drive 2 hours to Vermont , open a bank account and then have wires there ?

First of all, the bank must not be headquartered in a disallowed state.

Secondly, Bovada has told me the bank must be local. That may mean that it must be within your state, I'm not sure.

You also must not live in a disallowed state.

Wish I could help you, but Idk how to get them to allow you to wire.

Ok so, given the current state of Bovada I'm starting to get anxious for the first time since i made my first (and only) deposit 2 years ago.

Their software has being constantly having problems and disconnecting a huge part of their player pool the last few months (literally did not happen to me once in 2012 or 2013 and has happened multiple times in 2014.

I requested CC withdrawal Sept 27. Approved same day.
Received: October 14th for a total of 12 business days.

(estimate was max 7 bdays)

Constant generic emails.

If you check all of my posts about bovada they have been nothing but positive, but given the way bovada has been acting super spazzy recently i can no longer endorse them the way i did before. Personally, I'm making sure i keep the absolute BARE minimum on there at all times. And anyone with over 5k on there where 5k can change their lifestyle even slightly, id suggest to get as much off Bovada as possible.

lol wut? No reason to be concerned about keeping money on bovada. Agentduque gonna Agentduque. FWIW seems that payouts are slowing down on other sites too, possibly something to do with the NFL season and more payouts being queue'd than normal.

lol @Agentduque

so it takes a site 12 days to pay you and now you are advocating people to withdraw and keep the bare minimum online? lol

The CC payout option just sucks. Think about how long it takes to get a refund from a store when you use a credit card. It takes a week + sometimes to hit your account again.

Checks still coming in 3-5 days for me here when other sites are taking 2 weeks +.

You should be keeping the bare minimum on any US site though. There is no excuse to have a ton of money on Bovada when you can deposit/withdrawal so easily.
