Will there be any problems depositing a couple hundred bucks with my Visa credit card?

Poker1809- Please edit your post. Still too obvious. And I've had issues with that bank.

Oops. Sorry. But it doesn't appear I can edit it now that there's a reply.

Did your deposit attempt just get rejected? What happens?

I just wanted to advise those who want to use a HUD. Bovada frowns upon this and I have had friends accounts who have been frozen for HUD use. They don't want regs on their site.

You're going to have to show me an email saying they got their account frozen because of using a HUD. Until then, I call BS. I've been using a HUD on here for years as has every other poker player I've ever talked to that plays on Bovada. Wrong thread anyway, that has nothing to do with payouts or deposits.

It was brought up on the previous page, and go ahead and ask them yourself if you don't believe me. Or you don't want to, huh? I've been speeding for years too and never have been convicted of any of the tickets I've gotten.

This has been brought up dozens of times in this thread and the official Bodog thread. Bodog themselves state that HUDs are acceptable. Sorry you only read 2 pages of the thread and want to base your conclusions on that, but you're wrong.

I have asked them. Show the receipts or I call BS.

I went to bank to try this method and it did not work (presumably because its a international check). I also tried the smart phone apps to deposit the check but it did not work because it is a international check. Also tried small check cashing stores and this did not work either because of the above reasons.

I have no problem depositing to a live teller, but I do not want to get flagged for internet gambling. This happened once before to me because I deposited on a poker website with my debit card.

What is the best way deposit or cash this check? Is there any place other than main banks that will cash an international check? Any help would be appreciated, thanks
some of the checks have 8 digit routing numbers instead of 9 which is why they won't work on your phone or the atm.

just go in and deposit the check. as long as you don't tell them it's from poker while you take a dump on the counter you'll be fine.

It actually fluctuates based on daily currency volatility because there seems to be a lag from their intermediary. After the $50 charge, I've gotten transfers for $9,600 and $9,440. I would recommend taking the wire transfer over the checks though. The money still comes in basically the same time frame and you don't need to worry about checks not clearing.[/QUOTE]

Glad To hear you're having success with this method of withdrawel. If you wouldn't mind clarifying, how much less money did you receive in your bank than you originally cashed out?

It's usually no more than like $200ish, every now and then you make money.

Cashed out $1000 via WU on the 29th. For four days it said it was processed and I'd have the funds by today. Today they sent me a message saying they dropped WU to $800 max and cancelled my payout (at my request no less). Yet at the time when I cashed out it was max $1000, which the site STILL says is the max. **** this site they've done this crap twice to me already. Then they promptly reply with casino bonuses and other **** to make you lose your money. **** Bovada.

The check that was sent to me today is from a different place than usual. Can anyone confirm if the new checks are still clearing as easily as the ones from the north?

If it's from the place where you would never expect to get a check there was some issues with them like a month ago, but I've got 2 from there since then and they have been fine.

First time playing on Bovada in years, took first check to bank today. After several failed attempts to get the routing number to work, they realized it was a foreign check, and said that their new policy is to fedex foreign checks off to some other place to be processed. This is a fairly large regional bank. Odds the check goes through?

It'll go through.
Surprised a large bank wouldn't process it.
My small Credit Union has no problems as of yet.

It sounded as though its a new policy/procedure to not lot them go through at local branches, so they can instead be sent off for more thorough scrutinizing before they are processed.

This.

I requested check on 9/27 and was approved on 9/27
Still no check and no message with tracking info saying it was sent.

I e-mailed support yesterday to ask for an update and they told me it's only business day 5 and it normally takes 4-7, and to "rest assured" that once the tracking # is available I will receive the message my account.

I know it's only been a week, but since in the past year it has never take more than 3 business days to receive a message that my check was sent and the tracking #, and seeing how it's almost double that now, and people who cashed out after me have already received checks, it makes me feel like something may be amiss. Hopefully the only thing wrong is that I have been spoiled by such fast cashouts in the past.

wow a lot of you guys seem to get so nervous if you don't get your check in 3-5 days. Bovada really has spoiled us, and yet everyone thinks it is a crap site. So thankful there is one reliable site in the US.
