This is wrong.

If you requested a MG and most of the funds in your account are generated via Visa, you'll get a check, same goes w/ WU.

Unless you deposit with WU or MG you won't be cashing out w/ it. (in most cases, some exceptions are made or for certain states)

Just call Bovada and ask them what they are sending you, they should know. If it's a MG you'll get your info within 24 hours (or should) and if it's a check you may or may not get an email w/ a tracking #. Either way, they can tell you on the phone if you're that curious.

What state are you? That seems like a really long time. I took a check off on the 13th and had it when I woke up on the 15th.

When I was in Michigan all my checks came in 2-4 days. Now that I'm in Oregon they've all taken about 10-12 actual days. When it's shipped from fedex it's the shipping that takes the bulk of the time (approved in 2 days or so, take 7 days to ship), via dhl it's the check actually being written that takes so long (It'll be approved, then 8-9 days after that DHL will get it).

Makes since, I'm pretty close to where the North checks come from.

Thanks PLO, I have made over 95% of my deposited funds via MG, and just checked my account page and they charged the rapid transfer fee.....so I feel rather certain it will be via MG. And again thanks for not calling me a school girl because I was confused on a forum I have rarely used.

No problem, if they took the fee you're good to go. You most likely will have your money by this time tomorrow. Keep in mind in the future if you want to use MG or WU that it isn't total deposits via a method, it's the current money in your account. For example: You could deposit $10,000 via WU but then make 1 $200 deposit into your account (if it's at $0) and you will be forced to take a check. It's all about where the current balance came from. Though, I was in a similar issue to what I described a few years ago and Bovada actually went ahead and sent me a 1 time WU even though my most recent deposit came from a Visa.

Yeah, that was always my guess as to why it was so quick in MI too.

Lets assume I don't make any more deposits (I know a rather big assumption) I should be good to go w/ MG payouts?

Yes, whatever the last deposit method was that started your running bankroll determines your payout option.

Got an Email From Bovada Today:

Dear Alejandro,

We're contacting you about your recent credit card payout with Reference Number XXXXXXXXX, in the amount of $XXXX.XX which was processed to your card ending in XXXX on Sep 08.

We've been informed of a technical error which has resulted in your payout being delayed. We're pleased to confirm this issue has since been resolved and you should see these funds credited to your account within the next few days, if you haven't already.

Our credit card payout method is one of our quickest and most popular options. As your payout has fallen outside of our usual timeframes, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and to cover the usual payout fee on your next credit card payout.

If you have any questions about this withdrawal method, please feel free to contact us at 1-888-263-0000.

Best Regards,

Bovada Customer Service

Pretty cool gesture on their part. This is why i love bovada. Ive had zero negative experiences with them, and any kind of hiccup is always corrected and then compensated in some way. Its not a huge deal, its only $50, but its the fact that they knew they were wrong and did SOMETHING about it. Bravo Bovada

Anyone know when they stopped processing deposits from NY?
I've always had an account, but never actually played or deposited on it. Just went to set up my initial deposit and I have no options, just a number to call.
Cst Srv rep says they just recently stopped doing business with anyone from NY/NJ due to recent restrictions by the DOJ, and that they're working on it and will send out emails when things change.

Afaik, they stopped taking new accounts from NY a while ago, but as long as you were 'grandfathered' in with an old account, you could still use it.
Is anyone from NY having trouble cashing out?

Bovada is the nuts....I could have had cash in hand yesterday but pick up instructions didn't come by e-mail, they were in my Bovada messages at website (which I didn't think to check until today). Thanks Bovada truly amazing speed.
Sorry for the multiple posts but I can't edit my older posts...I guess that is standard though.

This is the way it should be. Imagine going to a live casino and buying $1,000 in chips, coming back 5 hours later with $2,000, asking to cash them in and having the clerk tell you "here is a receipt for your cashout, come back in 4-6 months and we will have your dough.. maybe"

How about next time just post all the info in one post. No one cares that you requested a check or that it was approved. I know you guys have to brag that you are cashing out for the first time, but it helps absolutely no one to post that you requested a cashout.

Requested payout on sat approved same day but no tracking in messages I called them up they said it was picked up by dhl in east but I called dhl got my own tracking number using my address and they said only a label had been created nothing was picked up

It is now wed night and it still hasn't been picked up I'm not worried because bovada has a great track record but is it normal for checks from the east to take 4-5 days just to be picked up?

Some guys around here really know how to make someone feel welcome....I wasn't bragging I was making a cashout, I mean come on, being as I had never cashed out from there and this is "Bovada payout thread" - I just erroneously assumed this would be the place to go to ask what to expect, was it going to be a hassle? Surprisingly it wasn't but clearly it is on some sites....so I was trying to be prepared. And if that bothers you XaQ Morphy don't read it, don't respond to it or whatever, make a clown remark if you feel the need.

I deposited via WU, and requested a cashout. There wasn't an option for what payout I wanted, is this because I will be receiving WU or could I possibly expect a check?

Also for a $600 cashout/deposit/WU, can I expect any fees?

Is anyone from NY still playing on Bovada? Afaik, as long as you had an account you could always deposit. Now I'm hearing they just stopped taking any action from NY/NJ.

Posted before but canceled the payout as I wasn't aware the max was 3000 every 5-7 days and only one free one.

So I submitted a new one for 3000.

9/25. 8am.

First time withdrawl. Hope it's quick:P

NY players haven't been able to deposit since at least May or so.
