Cash transfer max varies by state, fwiw. Mine in Indiana is $2K western union.

Yeah. Ran into that too. Check got held up for a long time by customs. Called FedEx. Finally came in today.

how long did you wait? also did you call bovada about it or just waited it out?

Received 2 checks this month, both came within 5 business days.
Both checks from the North with a 8 digit routing number. Deposited both with teller, no issues.

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, or just a noob question in general. Can you play Bovada in Nevada? I know some other sites, Carbon, are not allowing it due to the fact that in Nevada you can play on regulated sites. Thanks for the help.

Pretty cool that when I call to make my WU deposit over the phone the guy doesn't tell me my deposit won't hit my account until midnight if I go after 4 PM EST. When I call almost 3 hours later they tell me I could have just used Money Gram. A+ Bovada.

From there, it arrived in the US on the night of 5/21. Early the next morning, the status said "In transit/Package available for clearance" with no other clarification. Got stuck there. Figured I'd give it over the weekend. On Tuesday morning (5/27), finally called FedEx. They said they'd "trace" it. They called me back a bit later and gave me a vague thing about customs. Finally cleared on 5/28 and delivered 5/29.

Can't ever recall dealing with that before.

i had the issue of trying online western union (maybe a year ago) and online they would always send money in the local currency. Bovada only accepts USD. The people at WU told me i had to come in and make the xfer in person if I wanted to have it done in USD.

can also confirm moneygram is excellent. money was available in 10minutes in my account. was charged $10 for the deposit and bovada credited me $20 to cover the fees.

WU might have higher deposit tho, not sure... MG was like $900 iirc

Yeah, my WU was higher which is why I used it. Just got the money 5 minutes ago and I went at 4:30 lol.

My check from Bovada is being held by FedEx customs!!!!! I called FedEx and they said it's being held for unknown reasons. It's been held since May, 24th it's now the evening of the 30th!!! I'd be very care until this problem gets settled. I'm sure there is going to be more of these cases over the next few Days. I requested payment on May 20 or 21 it got approved fast like May 22nd then BAM held in customs... After two calls to Fedex with a promise of a callback, I have yet to recieve any explanation!!!

It's being held at customs in Memphis, TN which is usually where my checks are routed through when they come through Bovada... Just freaks me out never had anything held in customs for almost 7 days... Anyone else have a Bovada check sent via fedex get held by customs??

Read a few posts back, another guy had his held in customs but it got delivered.

Yeah, I mean I understand if you come here and dont want to read the entire thread for information, but reading literally three posts doesnt seem to be asking too much.

Considering this is one of the first forums that pops up when you google "Bovada Check Held in Customs" that was actually the first post I read. Figured that was a given since I ended up here right after the same question's been asked. Probability would suggest that.... Regardless, my bad I'll simplify/clarify.

I was wrong in my first post in regards to my approval date. It was actually approved May 22nd. I'm wondering if anyone received a check by courier with an approval date by Bovada on OR after May 22nd. I just find it weird that after 7 days and multiple calls, the courier is still holding it. I never had a monthly payout take longer then 4 total days except for back in the day when they use to come from Singapore...

Again, I just read only one page back to find all of these posts that directly answer your questions. I also had a 5/22 REQ- 5/23 Approved check fwiw. It came on 5/28. I had no issues with customs.


And this below shows that others are experiencing the same thing and your wait is not unusual in these circumstances.

So no one here ever uses the wire option into the bank?
