Just passed the one year anniversary on my account. Called in to ask about wire availability. Rep checked with supervisor, came back and said that due to my state's jurisdiction (Florida) they will not be able to offer me wire transfers.

Check is from our neighbors to the north who love hockey and tried to deposit at Shase via ATM and check was rejected. Should I just go inside and deposit? I thought I read here that ATM deposits here were no problem...the reason denied was because check was outside USA so should I just go inside and deposit and say it was for consulting work if questioned??

You are fine. You are worrying too much. Its just a check. Go in and deposit it. If questioned, I doubt you will be as its none of the tellers business and they dont get paid enough to give a **** about what you do for a living anyways, it doesnt matter what you say, just dont say its from a gambling website.

If they ask I always say that it is from Marketing promotions that I do. I actually do liquor promotions and cash checks from different companies and locations regularly.

Wow I really love playing on Bovada so I sincerely hope nothing bad happens with my situation: Western Union request 4-27-14, currently 5-15-14 and Bovada says they are still waiting for the information. This is the 14th business day and Bovada says it takes an average of 5 business days. When I called today, I tried to reverse it and switch my method because it has been so long. They told me they can't. I ask for the $100 fee waive for the WU cashout, they told me they can't and that I'm also not eligible for any bonuses. They told me just to keep waiting and checking my email. I've been recommending Bovada to others so I hope I'll be able to continue to do so...this wait time has me pretty worried. I guess this is just the state of online poker with our corrupt gov, I blame them the most. Hopefully I will get my money.

My friends who have ordered checks a few days after I ordered mine have already received them and received tracking numbers 2 days later. wtf bovada. I just ordered another check for 2500 while im still waiting for the last 2500. no tracking info 7 days later now. but already took the 5000 out of my acct.

Follow up on my experience with Shase, rejected at ATM...drove through the drive up teller...asked to just cash the check please and after a lengthy wait, teller gave me my money with no questions asked.

Requested $2k WU; they processed $1k of it for some reason. I checked my log and it says 2k requested and 1k processed. Doesn't look like they are doing it in increments either. Pretty strange.

Ahh, makes sense. I don't know why trying to deposit an international check with your bank should be such an area of concern.

I called them. Since routing number is only 8 digits and not 9-- they send it out to be collected. They do it but takes weeks.

I think 1k may be the max for WU, or maybe if more than 1k the fee that sender pays is higher. I'm basing this on a radio ad I heard today that said "send or receive money to South America up to one thousand dollars for XXX fee"

so I would guess Bovada plans on sending you 2 transfers.
