Requested: Tues. 4/29 @ 5:17 PM
Approved: Tues. 4/29 @ 9:42 PM
Check In Hand: Thurs. 5/1 @ 10:09 AM

- Less than 40 Hours from Request to Arrival for my first ever withdrawal
- Fed-Ex delivery. Didn't even have to sign, simply noticed the truck driving away and it was in my mailbox.
- North Check, will update with deposit information

Any doubters out there: Bovada is legit.
Deposited it at the teller 5/1 of my very large American bank.
Check cleared within 24 hours and funds now in my account

Just got an email from Bovada saying that I now have the option to cash out to my credit card. Anyone been using this method and if so how long has the wait been?

No one has ever used it, no one has ever posted about it in this thread, and no one has used the search function to try and find information about it.

At least one of these is true.

I just deposited a check yesterday, and it looks like it already cleared. Every other check took a while, just seems weird. Is it safe to assume that the funds are good or should you wait a grace period, I don't want to get hit with overdrafts.

Funds available in your account and a check clearing are two separate events.

If you look at your account online and the money is there, you can spend it.

And if you spend it and a week later the check ends up being denied, you'll be hit with a bunch of fees. This is a common enough event in online poker to be aware of it and try to give your checks a few weeks, or a month in your account before you start spending. Just in case.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when you see someone say their check cleared in a day.

Of my 3 bad checks I've ever deposited all 3 of them were at one time made available.

It just seemed weird to me, so I came to the forums to see if I should use the funds. I now know the answer and will wait some time before doing anything with the money. Thanks for the clarification.

That happened me once and then a day or 2 later a hold was put on the check and then it cleared up like 3 days later. So if i were you i'd wait a couple more business days just to be on the safe side.

Even though the money is made available the check has not cleared. For international checks its usually 2 weeks before they actually 'clear.'

Money Gram taking an unusual amount of time. Approved right away, now over a week with no pickup information.

Does Bovada send gift cards instead of checks or do they only send checks? Or is there an option? Never withdrawn from Bovada before but hopefully my bank doesn't have problems with international checks.

Does anyone know what the requirements are to get bank wires activated on a US Bovada account?

How big of a fee were you hit with, I heard 1% was fairly common? One of the last posters stated 10%. I would definitely find this route more convenient, but if I would have to take a 10% hit I would just go about it the usual check route and wait for it to clear.

Generally once your account has been open for a year they add it as an option.

Can anyone else confirm this? I have tried to get it added for months as an option and heard this from one other person. My account is 10 months old.
