Don't worry about the check bouncing. There are no reports in this forum of Bovada ever sending bad checks. I used to worry about problems with my bank but a buddy of mine, who works as a teller, told me not to. He said foreign checks are fairly common at banks(I do live in a city with lots of immigrants) and as long as it clears, you're good. Don't take accusations from your bank. You're a customer of theirs. The first few times I said I was being paid for freelance work with a company in that country and asked with concern if was possible to deposit the check. Now I just toss it up on the counter. I have never had an issue.

max check received from 11/11 withdrawal, my bank said 10 week hold, it's been 5 weeks and it's now listed as pending hold release 1/2/14. woot.

This check is no longer pending and is in my account. Just to clarify my other post, the check said payable through Up North Bank's agent in New York. I don't remember seeing this on other checks, so maybe that is why the ATM accepted the check for me? My ATM has never accepted any checks before this one.

Hey I got a couple of questions about Western Union sorry if this has been asked before.

First when you want a western union payment is it money transfer or rapid transfer under the cashier?

Second how does the western union withdraw process work? Do I wait for an email from bovada with the info then go pick it up?

I was wondering if anyone knows what the situation is for those living in New York state.

I just moved to New York from Pennsylvania, so my driver's license and Bovada address I signed up with are from PA. I know when signing up for Bovada, there were four states that weren't allowed and NY was one of them.

As far as cashout options, can I change my address to NY to get checks mailed there or will that get me kicked off Bovada? What about the other withdrawal options? Or should I just have checks sent to my parents' house in PA which is the address I used to sign up and is on my license? Super inconvenient, but I don't know what to do.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, otherwise I have no idea how I can withdrawal without jeopardizing my Bovada account :/

Just got a phone call a few minutes ago from Bovada on their 888-263-0000 number. About a week or so ago I requested a WU payout that took about 4 days to get CIH and twice I got the email that it had been processed but thought nothing of it. They told me that it was an error on their end that they had duplicated the payout but instead of deducting the funds from my balance (fwiw I currently have it covered) they would just give it to me since it was an error on their part and it is the holiday season. Got the WU info over the phone and now I'm going to pickup what is basically a 2nd free payout.

Not making any of this stuff up at all. I used to like Bovada. Now I love bovada. Free monies and 11/10 customer service

Registered and made a fedex account, still no notification from them. I think i may b missing something here. When i called fedex they said i should b expecting a delivery today, so idk what to do to get tracking info anymore.

Will go to my credit union in a day or two and deposit the check. Really surprised how quickly it got here.

perhaps the fact the delivery was in route when you created the account made the notification not happen??? dunno. I get emailed in transit, day of deliver, delivery confirmation. Others have signed up and system works.

Also double check you filled out your mailing address and email address correctly...
