Hi All, Created an account just to let you know my experience for my first Bovada Payout:

Requested: 9/17
Approved: 9/18
FedEx Tracking provided: 9/21
Check delivered (from Canada): 9/23

My major banking branch would not let me deposit it in ATM - However after reading on the subject, this particular bank just does not currently allow foreign checks (even in USD) to be deposited through ATMs. So I deposited it with a teller yesterday (9/25), no questions asked.

I received "counter credit" today and am crossing my fingers that the check does not bounce later. I'll update assuming anyone cares.

I received 16 max Western Union payouts in 2012. WU then started an "investigation" and I was no longer able to get payouts through them. The money was in limbo for months. It was deducted from my account, but I could not get the money. After numerous phone calls to CS, I was able to finally have Bovada send me a check for the $2k. It was quite a hassle. I am no longer able to receive payouts via this method, needless to say.

Not trying to be a dick, but people don't care unless it bounces.

Every check from Bovada I've requested has taken no more then 1 week. However, issues do arise when dealing with payment processors like Bovada does. Checks will bounce....

However, you are 18 according to you previous post, and that doesn't sound like the legal gambling age in your jurisdiction. So, I'd suggest something other than online poker for you, anyways. Come back to twoplustwo in a couple years when you're of legal age and online poker is regulated in your state.

JpokerG

Bovada sends check via International Overnight Service, either by DHL or FedEx. In fact the FedEx comes Priority Overnight, so they get AM delivery.....

Guess that doesn't help your argument....

JpokerG

Dude, you have no clue what you're talking about. Please move along and leave this thread to the people with real issues.

So after all this research and consultation you still came here asking about playing on Bovada?

Let me help you here, there isn't one item in UIGEA that prohibits online gaming. UIGEA restricts the ability to conduct financial transactions for the operators. This would be the reason that NOT ONE player was prosecuted as a result of Black Friday and in fact - have been considered victims.

Now if your state has a law against it, that's a separate issue. Mine, however, does not.

JpokerG

Hi!

I see you're still here posting.....see you at the Bovada tables next week.

JpokerG

I guess your definition of "quitting" isn't the same as mine.

Everything you posted in this post and nearly every other post you`ve made is completely false.

Id suggest you educate yourself on a subject before you run your mouth in public like an authority to a group of people that know you are FOS unless you like looking like an idiot.

Not only are you clearly too immature to be gambling, you are clearly too immature to post in this forum.

Go play Hello Kitty Island, thats more your speed.

Good luck.

Ok great bye^^^.

Be careful.

Good luck.

What's up guys...

So far from my 3 year experience, Bovada's been reliable as far as paying out. The checks I've received in the past was from the East. Recently (this year) the East checks took anywhere from a 7-10 days to rih from the time you requested it from Bovada. The beauty of the East checks is that even though they looked funny, my banks ATM would accept them, and the funds would be available the following day. I'm sure it has to do with the address of the East bank being here in the states.

Yesterday I received a check from the North and it surprisingly took less than 48 hours (Req - 9/23, Rec - 9/25). However, the ATM refused to accept the check. I had to go inside and deposit it through the teller. Even though it took some time, they accepted my deposit. Difficulties in depositing probably has something to do with the check having a North address (international check). My bank is one of the large ones here so hopefully things go through okay.

Has anyone received any checks from the North? If so, how long did it usually take for the check to clear? Right now, my check isn't even listed in the posting and pending section of my online statement. I know Bovada is good for it, but I'm just a little paranoid there will be issues forthcoming with this North check.

MarkoPolo - Did your North check clear or are you still waiting? If so, how long did the whole process take? Thanks in advance for your input.

The check was available in my account next business day. This, however, has a lot to do with you banking institution.

I think it's good to establish current wait times for checks. Request dates and received check dates are useful to read

That wasn't what I was referring too. I was saying no one needs to know when the check clears. If your check clears no one cares, no need to update. If it bounces otoh...

Took two weeks for me to get my wire... No fees charged and as the wire came in euros I actually ended up getting 60 more bucks than I cashed out

REQ: 9/22 (Sunday)
REC: 9/24

Variance: $0.24 more then $0.01-$0.15 quoted. Boom.

Deposited in literally 10 seconds at a big bank. They slide it through a machine and print your receipt, no questions.

I am having an unusually hard time getting Bovada to reimburse me for my bounced check mentioned before. Here is the email just received:

We're sorry to hear about the problem with your payout with Reference Number xxxxxxxx for the amount of $xxxxx via Check by Courier requested on August 18, 2013.

Please be advised that the payment providers may charge you additional fees to receive your funds, which we are not responsible for and that we're not collecting these funds nor benefit in any other way. This information is outlined in our help page and can be found by going to the link provided below:

http://www.bovada.lv/help/payout-fees

In addition, please note that as we work as an international company, it's not a guarantee that the amounts you will receive is always in US dollars or the check is withdrawn from a US bank.

Our Customer Service Team is available 24/7 to help if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Bovada Customer Service

I had tried to get this taken care of with a short message but I just whipped off a lengthy response detailing that I am not seeking reimbursement of processing fees but rather FEES INCURRED BY ME DUE TO BOVADA'S INVALID CHECK.

I've done checks as low as $100. Not sure what the min is. I think 3k is the max.

I think for these types of issues, it is best to just call and speak to someone over the phone. At least, in my limited experience (one bounced check some time ago).

Did you deposit using MG or did they allow you to use this as a cashout method. Trying to do this.

Anyone experience a WU slow down, I usually get the CTN in hand within 72 hrs, but my last request (last week) the email came with a caveat about a 10 day average wait now, and were going on day 6, just wondering if this is an abberation or the new norm.
