Okay guys so I was just playing some zone poker to try it out. I was playing 10 NL and I was up about 9 dollars or so and left the table. Its been a couple hours and I have 19 dollars missing from my account. I go under my account statement and it doesn't say "cash out" for amount when it always does even if you do not cash out with any amount. Has anyone else experienced this? I have contacted bovada and they are yet to respond.

I've had that happen but it usually was put back into my account after about 10 minutes or so.

Wow d leather I requested a payout for 300 dollars on the third it was approved the 4th and I haven't received it. It is only weird to me because I am from Massachusetts also and you received yours first.

Yours is most likely coming tomorrow. I also got approved on the 4th and received a text message saying it would be delivered tomorrow. I believe his check is most likely not coming from the far east like ours.

fwiw, in the DHL package you receive a letter saying DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CASH THIS CHECK.

Pee En Cee has free checking and their atms are at all of the Wawa's in Philly. Just make one there, unless you're a drug dealer or something lol.

I highly doubt a check cashing place will cash a foreign check. I guess you could call them and ask though. The check I received recently said it was a Hank of Lamerica account, you could maybe trying calling that bank to see if they cash foreign checks from their own bank.

do NOT attempt to cash a Bovada check at any sort of check cashing business or similar offerings like at Walmart or a supermarket....as others have mentioned the check will come with a nice friendly letter that explicitly warns against attempting to "cash" the check; it requires being deposited into an account of some sort.

if you're using a larger big-name national bank there should be no additional fees or holds, nor any issues with them accepting the check(either through ATM or inside with a teller as long as you don't mention poker/gaming/gambling)....and FYI, the funds should be completely cleared and available in full by the next business day or two obv depending on how late you deposit it etc.

you need to find a way to deposit the check into an account of some sort...there isn't a way around this besides asking Bovada to cancel the check and send your payout through another method like Western Union.

requested 8/14
approved 8/15

one quick question..is it best to deposit the check via atm or do I need to have face to face contact with the bank teller since it is a foreign check.

I have been using western union for my cashouts up to this point, but the fees are pretty high. Would I be able to sign the check over to someone else(like my brother) and have them deposit it into their account ? Like I said in my earlier post I currently do not have a bank account I burry the money in my yard haha Maybe its time to get with the times and open an account somewhere.

I mean, if you have no legal issues (blacklisted from opening checking accounts, tax evasion, etc) holding you back from opening an account I would just go ahead and open a free one at Pee En Cee just for the sole purpose of depositing poker checks. There's no minimum balance required and they have ATM's at all the Wawas in the Philly area.

Anyone ever not received their check on the day it was scheduled to arrive?

I got a text message yesterday from DHL with the tracking number and what not saying my package would arrive today and it never came.

I checked the DHL tracking website, and the package was coming from the east to the closest major city to mine, about 4 hours away. Said it arrived in said major city at 10 am, and nothing showed up today.

Just wondering if anyone has ever ran into this problem.

yup checks are flying out very quickly right now....less than 2 weeks from request to cash on titties.

i'm praying Bovada will actually anticipate the increasing volume of cashouts that come with NFL/football season this year....every fall it seems like the poker players get shafted in this area; its almost like they put our cashout requests behind sportsbettors.

i'm hoping we can avoid the 2-3 month cashouts that seem to arrive with NFL season.

Were cashouts really 2-3 months during football season last year?

nope, just the opposite. Payouts were slow in the spring/early summer and they got better throughout the summer and football season.

Oh okay, thanks. Nice to see other people spewing false info in this thread...
