sry m8...I just started playing on this site, and thought the thread title was referring to OUR own banks--not where it was coming from.

I know it sounds like a stupid question, but did you sign the back of the check before depositing through the ATM--and if so what part?
I just received my first check and there is no specified spot for a signature on the back. Thanks

sign the top of the check (on the back where the normal endorse line is), I don't think your check will go through the ATM

I could be wrong, but I don't think checks from the east go through the ATM. You can try it and if doesn't work just go to the teller.

Mine was from an eastern bank.

I wasn't suggesting that a check would be rejected because you didn't sign it. I would still suggest signing the checks.

Why no synchronized breaks on this site? I don't think I have to explain why synchronized breaks are a must.

wrong thread, many have complained about that before and I don't ever remember a good reason being given.

Did anyone else receive a note along with the check?

I got a message that says

"Kindly note this cheque cannot be cashed. It can be only deposited into payee's own bank account."

So it looks like for me it is my only option...?

why not deposit it in your bank account?

edit: everyone gets that note

thank you Hal...that's what I was really wondering about. My first check, so had no idea. Yes, I will attempt to deposit it through my ATM. Seeing that kind of note is clearly pretty sketchy so I was a little worried. I will just sign the back and deposit it. If there is a problem I will update.

I requested four separate checks from Bovada: 6/20, 6/20, 6/24, and 6/24. I have received three checks so far (7/11).

One went into the ATM, the other two were rejected by the atm, but accepted by the teller with no problems.

The checks from the North of the USA would not go into the ATM at two different banks. The check from the East went into the ATM.

Forgot to Mention: Did not receive any tracking numbers by email. The checks just showed up.

My check from the east was deposited through my bank's android app.

Could give that a shot if you have that option available.

I see by your posts that you are crushing Fixed NL on a reg basis. I have never tried and I am in need of some coaching/advice. If you are interested pm me.
When i say i made 6 figures last year i am just being an arrogant braggart cause i know it is so tough to make a living in this game. I made barely six trust me....

The most important advice at bovada is that there are two types of winning players. Those whose incomes increased because of anonymity, and those whose decreased.

You want to be one of the cool kids but i think you probably are and are doing fine.

STEWIE_GRIFF

I would question this advice as well. Why exactly are we check raising nothing on an AQ7 board and barreling off almost every card especially if you play on an anonymous site where you can't get real accurate reads of people's calling ranges. I know you are giving an example but it just seems like a terrible one lmao.

AQ7 villain starts with a raising range of 30%, he is aggressive he bets and we raise. He now needs to fold 50% of his range for us to breakeven just about... ok so he folds out 50% of his range and we break even on the raise now the times he calls he is down to 15% range theoretically... we bet the turn pretty big like 2/3 pot... now we need villain to fold 40% of his range otherwise we profit... boom villain is down to 15%*60% calling range =9% range... now river blanks off 75% of the time and we fire a 3rd barrel for 2/3 pot and we need villain to fold 40% at least again to breakeven on the bet. So villain can't fold more then 60% of his range otherwise we are profitable. So his range should look like this.... 9%*60% calling range = 5.4%. So for us to profitably be able to triple barrel this river basically villain needs to fold more then 5.4% of his initial 30% range. We can assume that Ax makes up 8% of villains range. Now factor in sets and two pair and the fact we are on an anonymous table we can start to see why triple barreling air is pretty terribad. 6 figures is possible at 100NL 8 tabling btw.

My first couple withdrawals went as smooth as can be from Bovada. The last one was a little bit of a pain. I hope they are not going downhill because i got about 10 friends to leave lock and carbon because i bragged about how quick i received my payouts!! Hope im not made into a liar lol!

Final update: Check cashed, but was not drawn on a US address bank account. My bank charged 10 dollar fee to deposit since only bank listed on check was not in country. Pretty annoying.

Tracking numbers aren't sent in emails, they're sent in the "messages" section on your Bovada account - for future ref.

Any ideas?
It won't take anywhere near that long. Deposit if you haven't yet.
