Requested western union on may 31st for 500 dollars, still haven't received and have called support multiple times, they keep giving me the same run around saying its been approved but they are waiting on the mtcn# from the processor. I've never had this problem with bovada before but im at a loss of what to do now. If anyone has any suggestions as to what steps i should take now please im all ears, most people receive their wu's in 3 days max but for me it has been two full weeks with nothing...

Yay another bovada payout that's going to take months to get. Requested payout 5-26-13 received 6-5-13 now bank says only way they will even attempt to cash it is to setup separate account and allow them to place 60 day hold on the account. 30 seconds to do a deposit and for them to get their $ 2 and a half months I have to wait for a payout. They didn't even send me a real check. Was some bank draft from ****. I see so many ppl on here who never has problems yet everytime Ive ever made a withdraw alaways seems long and drawn out. Last time took over 4 months to receive funds from a payout as the check they sent me bounced. Im done playing on this crummy site.

It wont surprise me if the Funky bank draft bounces, and Im stuck waiting 4 or more months again on a payout.

Tried to take bank draft to local check cashing company who cashes checks instantly and they told me they would not $ it cause they have received bounced checks before from account that the draft is drawn off of and the company owes them $ for the bounced checks. So stuck waiting on my bank.

I've never not been paid so In that sense I don't think Bovada is scammers. But I've never had an incident where I have gotten my $ in less than 2 months after requesting. sad it takes 30 seconds to deposit, but forever to get a payout feels like ya gotta always jump through hoops to get pd. =(

I don't care about the rest of you. All I care about is good customer service & being paid in a timely manner. Neither of which has ever been the case with my dealings with Bovada.

Nothing I have said possibly could cause negative ramifications to anyone else. And seriously the majority of you probably don't care if I have to wait 4 months to get pd. I just don't feel its right that for some they make it so easy yet for others like I say trying to get paid is like jumping through hoops. ridiculous.

Good deal, least I got something positive to look forwards to sometime in the next 2 months. Maybe it wont bounce.

Everyone should remember not to put locations and bank names in their post. The hold period may be because of your bank not necessarily the check as I have gotten similar ones and only had a 2 day wait for funds.

You need a new bank miestro. Secondly, you need to stop acting like a child. There could be ramifications to the rest of us if people blatantly name which locations these payouts come from. We get it. You are done with Bovada, but dont try to sabotage the rest of us out of selfishness.

First time withdrawing with WU:

requested: 6/12 - 5 AM
processed: 6/12 - 10:30 PM
cash in hand: 6/13

could have gotten it same day possibly, but wasn't sure you could pick up anywhere that late lol

I do have that option, but why should I have to change banks to get an easy payout? Why do I request a check and get bank draft from some small market country that's questionable? Why wont local check cashing company process due to fact that same account has had previous bounced checks? Sure I could change banks and maybe or maybe not get it cashed sooner & easier. But why should I have to? Why wont they just make payouts easier. They sure don't have problems getting a deposit under a minute. Why should I be subjected to a situation where getting the payout will take so long?

Ive gotten 6 payouts previous to the 1 I'm waiting on now. The only 1 that was not a hassle was when they sent me a check from ****. That payout only took me roughly 40 days to receive but cleared quickly. Why couldn't they send me another check from ****. Just seems to me like for some ppl they try to make it as difficult as possible to get your funds.

Cause online poker is illegal and it's difficult for these sites to do transactions. If its so simple go play somewhere else or start your own site and rake in millions.

Stop filling up the thread with your nonsense. People have tried to give you advice but your obviously a simpleton who can't comprehend anything.

Id suggest you just be patient and you will get your money. Every once in awhile WU has a hiccup. Worst case scenario you cant just get a check if it never goes through and you dont feel like trying WU again.

Good luck.

Google UIGEA.

You dont have to do that. You can instead choose to just cry about your situation but I don`t think that will help solve your problem.

No offense, but you arent really are coming off very well here.

The world doesnt revolved around you.

Bovada has a multi-million dollar business and your view is that they should but all of that in jeopardy so you personally dont have to suffer the inconvenience of taking fifteen minutes and making an account at a different bank for your poker checks.

Doesnt that seem a little unreasonable to you if you actually put your emotions aside and look at it objectively?

1 would think that a multimillion dollar industry wouldn't give ppl such problems about being paid.

I tried to make other arrangments with a local check cashing company who has received bounced checks from them be4 and bovada owes them money. (That's what they told me) so they refused to cash it. Regardless of what bank locally that I take this BS to because its a draft & not a check & is tied to multiple accounts Id would guarantee no matter what bank I take it to they going to make me wait.

And seriously most ppl who post here speak of how ghreat the service is and how quick they get paid so highly doubt any of those ppl care about me having to wait forever to get paid. So Why should I care about them. Im glad Bovada isn't dicking you all around like they seem to always do me.

Again, do you not understand UIGEA and or the wire act?

Bovada is violating both being a sportsbook, thus they cant just cash every American out via Skrill in five minutes. It is far more complicated than that getting you your check if they wish to stay in business.

The reason many are scoffing at your situation is because they understand this fact and either they have experienced problems similar to you from time to time, or they have learned that problems like that are an unfortunate consequence our governments overreach into our personal lives.

On top of all of that, Bovada is considered one of the better poker sites for Americans in regards to getting you your money quickly and efficient.

If you bounce a check at a check cashing place I would think it would be your responsibility to pay them not Bovadas. Im not sure how Bovada would ever owe them money. Bovada will gladly replace the bounced check upon confirmation of the check, it is your responsibility to repay any debts you have made. Bovada isnt responsible for that, nor could any check cashing place expect to hold them accountable.

Basically, like LT said, this sounds suspect at best. Perhaps they received similar looking checks that bounced and are wary of accepting more, that sounds more reasonable.

Anyways, the possibility of checks bouncing is reason you shouldnt be cashing poker checks at check cashing places as many people have suggested in this thread for a long time.

Again, the world doesnt revolve around you, you are not special in regards to having problems with a payment from an online poker site post UIGEA, it happens all the time, and there is no way Bovada or any site can make themselves immune to this reality, which is what people are trying to explain to you.

Also, many people have taken time to give you good advice. Just because you are selfish doesnt mean others here have acted that way towards you, but if you feel the need to imagine that to justify your attitude whatever I guess.

Rapid Transfer cashouts really slowing down. Used to be the norm to have cash in hand in 12-24 hours, the last 4 have been around 72-96 hours after being processed with the latest one over 100 hours and counting.

My account shows my only option to deposit is moneygram or western union. Maximum deposit by moneygram is 900 dollars. Maximum deposit by western union is 5000 dollars. Is this what most of you have as well as far as limits?

1. Has anyone here deposited anywhere close to 5000 dollars by western union and got trouble or flagged when making this big of a cash deposit? As im aware if you deposit 900 or under, they do not ask for ID. But if you deposit more than that, they ask for your id. However, the most i ever deposited at one time was $1500 back a few years ago. I had to give them my ID for that. I want to deposit between $3000-$5000.

2. Anyone here from New York only have western union and moneygram as their only payout options? I use to have check/bank wire and it seems like they took this away for NY as i see many people here request by check or wire. My account shows that i get 1 free payout per month up to $1000 and anything more than that, i have to pay the fees. Is it me or is this ridiculous? I know everyone gets 1 free check per month or bank wire but do those of you in other states get a free payout by western union or moneygram if you choose this as oppose to check/wire?

3. How are you guys with no check/wire withdrawing? First $1000 Western Union Withdraw is free of charge but every $2000 after that for the month cost $150. That is a lot to pay since another person in another state can just withdraw a $3000 check and pay no fees? That doesn't seem fair because I'm in NY.
Are you sure it says no fees for the first 1k wu withdrawl? Ive never seen anyone here get a free wu/mg withdrawl other than when a cashout is late sometimes they will waive the fee because of it.
