Has anyone ever been denied depositing a check? I mean what do you say if they ask you where this came from? My buddy said his came from Signapore and his bank was askking all sorts of questions.

Really surprised i deposited a Singapore check and didn't get questioned at all from my bank. Run too good i guess

when you request a cashout, do you get an email or message of any sort? is the $ taken from account balance? not sure if it went through....

it can take up to 48 hours, you get an email fairly soon after request, less than an hour I'd say and then it takes up to 48 hours to process. They don't subtract the funds until the request is processed. It is usually processed in about 24 in my experience.

Okay, this is some bull****!!!!

I recently requested a payout via WU. I received the control number today, BUT am unable to receive the cash. I moved from California to Texas and never updated my mailing address, and apparently I can only receive the cash from the city and state that the sender put on the money transfer (my old mailing address). I called support and they said there is nothing they can do: "It has already been processed."

So now I'm out of $500!!! Here's where I'm confused though. If that money is not getting cashed by me, and after the 30 days when it expires... where will the money go? Why can't I be credited those funds back to my account. Someone is going to get those funds, who will it be? Bovada?


What do you guys think I should do because that is $500 unaccounted for and belongs to me! Why can't they just change the sender info to texas??? Why???

Tell them to cancel the WU and put the $ back in your account? It's almost as if you did not even bother asking them about this.

They may make you eat the fee, but they should put the money back in the account. Also, this seems like a good reminder to keep your address updated. What if you did that with a check? LOL. Can't blame Bovada for your error.

I called and there is no way for them to retrieve the funds. Looks like WU is coming up on a free $500. Your right, it is my error. Oh well. Now I know

call WU and see what can be done. A few years back you could pick up WU from any state

does anyone know if your drivers license has to have your current address on it in order to pick up a Western Union transfer? i have moved and my license has my old address.

I was in this same boat you should be fine. First go to a location that isnt a direct WU IE bank or grocery store. Bring in a peice of mail with ur name and address that matches your WU pick up info.

Explain your situation show them peice of mail. best to be utility bill..then they will usually do it. I have never had a problem...

loololololololol. stop counting the days from your original request. They're not going to pay you more often than about every week once the original request shows up. Today is the seventh business day since you last received a check.

Anybody else still waiting for a check requested around 5/1? Maybe they had to redo a batch or something.

I received mine yesterday.

It doesn't matter, I picked one up last week, and my address on my driver's license is different from my Bovada address. I had no problems, if they say anything just tell them you moved, it's not really an issue.
