lol man u are really paranoid, if u cash a check that is written to u and it bounces there is not an arrest warrant issued. ( pretty hilarious that u actually think that). THe first thing the place that gave u the funds would do would be to go after the maker of the check and if they were unable to collect it that way then they would contact u to pay the funds back, and they would work with u and give u due time to make good on it but there would definitely not be an arrest warrant for u if u cashed a check in good faith thinking that the check was good all along.

For online poker, yes this is good. For Bo-Vada-Dog, no it's not. They still offer sportsbook and that IS still a target for the DOJ.

Christmas is observed as a federal holiday today (monday 12/26). Also DHL has all the lines moving again, just checked my tracking number. I had a similar hold on the shipment and things got moving again at 10am.

I've been watching the traffic on Bodoga since long before the switch (pokerscout.com), and especially since the switch. Although it is clearly down, there is still significant traffic. As long as Bodog was a healthy company before the switch, there does not seem to be any reason to panic.

I was kicking myself for not withdrawing before the change, but I'm less worried about it now. Bodoga has the highest rake and worst bonuses of any poker room. In fact, they've even removed the time bonus from the Poker Points system. So they should be able to maintain profitability unless they do something really stupid.

The clarification of the Wire act probably means that the DOJ will not be going after any operators for awhile.

Maybe they'll even unfreeze the hundreds of millions taken from Full Tilt and those guys can finally get paid out, although I doubt it. They'd have to admit to running a witch hunt counter to federal law. I expect they'll pursue money laundering charges and ignore the fact that they forced Full Tilt to launder because they wouldn't let them process legal payments.

Anyway, barring something that none of us know about yet (like fraud) Bodoga does not seem to be in any immediate danger of going under.

Got tracking number today, should arrive on 29th.

You can leave a note on your door with your name and signature, and tracking number if you have it, with a note telling them that you give authorization for them to leave it, slide it under your door, or w/e. Should work.

It worked for me on Friday as I was out of town and received tracking# the night before. The package was left and they took the note I left. It's easy to slide it under my door though, and I don't know if that might make a difference.

Actually, DHL told me that I could do that on one previous delivery when I knew I wouldn't be home to sign for it.

Also, these delivery people asking how much someone won and talking about their own poker winnings is still bugging me out. How the f do they know that the checks are for poker winnings????

And if anyone makes any payout requests by check this week, can you post how many days they are estimating for delivery?

I'm hoping it will go back to 7 business days after the holidays.

Have you played any hands since your cash out? I know this sound syncial but try it. They help out active users who create rake more.
