12/23: Check Received

As i was signing, the DHL guy asked me how much I won lol. I told him, and then he went on to talk about a 150k heater he went on in the summer of '96. It was actually pretty funny.

Will update if/when check bounces plus how much bodog refunds me if applicable

Requesed on 12/4 Came yesterday. Deposited today, funds on hold till check clears.

God i hate checks....i live in europe and when i deposited a check in u.s $ from neteller a few years ago i got my money in one month!!!

tracking number for Sun 11/27, Fri 12/2 FINALLY RECEIVED. I just about **** myself. Apparently CS lied to me as they're combined into one check. So glad not to be dealing with these hacks anymore.

The manager finally called me back and told me it was OK to go ahead and deposit the check, which I just did. I will update later on whether it clears or not.

What has your guys experience been when you are not there to receive the check? Do they leave a note the first day, as long as you sign it they will drop the check the next?

Waiting on $15k, Never home during the day, going be a pain in the ass to deal with multiple checks

They leave a door tag. You can sign it and leave on your door, they will drop off your check the next day.

Got the check today 12/23 that was requested on 12/1. Delivered by DHL, and the guy was nice enough to make a second stop today, since i missed out on first delivery.

Same time frame for me. I got this same note and have had this type of check before. The DHL delivered checks are usually a PIA and the Fedex checks are usually much easier to deal with. Today I ran bad (but at least got the check) and hopefully next one will be the better check. Last time I got the DHL delivered overseas check I was able to get cash but it took a little longer. If you take it to the US institution it says on the check they can verify it (took 3 days before) and deposit or cash it.

FWIW, the fedex delivered checks stopped sending me tracking numbers a while ago so I leave a signed door tag out there permanently when expecting a check. I didn't have to do this for some time since the fedex lady was by buddy and knew to leave it weekly (shameless brag) but the route is now driven by a dude and he makes me have something signed.

They will place a stop payment on check if you use check cashing store/etc.

So in general you're hoping for a fedex tracking number rather than DHL???

Illinois, right smack in the middle. Only thing that kept me from calling was seeing many others have the same issue.
