Quick question about Money Transfers. Does Western Union cut you off if you receive too many transfers. Would like to be able to withdraw $2500/wk with WU as a secondary method on top of checks. I vaguely remember hearing about that sometime back but can't remember.

Also, regarding wires. Interesting situation. I called into customer support to ask about Money Transfers and asked if wires were still a no-go for everyone and she confirmed "yes". Anyway, after looking at my account and putting me on hold she said I was able to do a wire transfer. I was approved Dec. 3 but haven't seen anything as of yet. Will update if/when I do.

Yes you are likely to eventually get banned by WU if you pull out that much per week

I got my replacement check and the issuing bank rejected it (Refer to Maker). Bodog is now ignoring my emails about it.

Feels like a sinking ship to me.

I requested a check this past weekend, and it took about a day and a half before it was approved. I think it's normal in the current climate.

What's not normal is for Bodog to not even send their form acknowledgment email when I email support. I've got three pending cashouts...maybe they've flagged my account and aren't helping me because of this. In the absence of any other explanation, that's what I'm going with.

(bodog deposited the money for the fees i occurred into my bodog account..if this check goes thru it would have only cost me 8 cents ,a day of email phone calls back and forth, and an extra week to receive original payout, all and all i can live with this outcome...)

talked to CS last night and was told that the delay in my check (11/27) was from the software changeover that occurred a few days later and that I should wait a little longer. There was also some vague reference to a bank holiday in there which I'm dubious of. I'm calling again on Wednesday.

I've got a caution for you all. I received my check from Bodog a few days ago - it was very timely, only about 7 days from when I requested it. It was a different check than I've had in the past - this one was handwritten, and drawn on a bank in the Bahamas.

I just went to the bank. Once they confirmed that it was drawn on a foreign bank (and not Canadian) they told me it would take as much as 3 weeks to clear (not a problem) - but also that they would charge $150 for the process. They said that was the fee regardless of the size of the check - it is for foreign processing.

I called another place and they said there would not be a charge - but just be careful. Before you deposit by mail or directly to atm, you might want to check with the bank to see if they recognize the routing number and if there will be a fee.

Update: Bodog cancelled my Bahamas payout and issued another payout for the same amount. Since I already have a pending payout, I hope they don't try to charge me the 50 bucks on one or the other. Will update...

Walked into BOA today and they told me to wait for the mailed returned check and bring it to them and they will deposit it "correctly" but they said if it goes through collections the wait can be as much as 6-8 weeks to clear.

I'm going to fax this stuff over to bodog and request a Western Union. Did they offer you alternate payout methods?

1. Was this one of the hand-written checks from the Bahamas?

2. Did they quote you a 15 business days time-frame for this check's delivery in the initial email confirmation?

After receiving my bank documentation, Bodog just cancelled the Bahamas payout and immediately submitted/approved a new payout for the same amount.

Ive seen a few post where players have had probs with checks several weeks after being deposited. Just wanted to say that just because your bank 'clears' your check in a day or two does not mean the check has sufficient funds to be drawn. It sometimes takes two weeks for a check to officially 'clear' after deposited into your bank.
