When I requested my cashout a few days ago, the screen said 4-7 days, too, but the email said 15 days. I think it became 15 days after the new software and people started requesting cashouts (a run on the bank, so to speak). I sure hope our funds are safe (segregated from operating capital).

Also, the last time I cashed out, I asked the DHL driver if I could leave a note and ask him to have my neighbor (whom I trust 100%) sign for it if I knew I wouldn't be home. He said no problem.

Yeah, last time I used DHL I left a note and they left it on my porch.

I got a message from Bodog today and this check is arriving on December 7th via FedEx.

Requested: 11/25
Approved: 11/26
Expected Arrival: 12/7

Will update when it clears

I have to say, despite the fact that I am unhappy with the actual Bodog pokerroom (see anonymous tables, etc.), I have had very quick payouts from them as a U.S. player.

I deposited on here as well without really looking into any cashout options.

The one one that shows up on my screen is Check, however, it says that only amount of $300 are issued and one one a month is free. So just wanted to clarify, if I made a cash out of $900, the first would be free (Assuming it was the first cash out of mine that month) and then would have to pay 50x2 for the remaining 600? Is that true??? If so that's absolutely absurd...

Would like to know if its different because of these Bodog Changes and hearing cashouts taking longer. I know its for checks but what about western union/ MG cashouts?
I did an MG cashout two weeks ago took them 24hrs to process i went to MG retailer picked it up next day no problem.

I got a check today drawn on a bank in the Bahamas.

It is filled out by hand.

First time I've seen either of these things in maybe 20 checks this year. None has bounced before.

Do you think this check is more likely to bounce? Should I deposit in an ATM?

Any other advice?

Thanks very much.

Was it drawn on an out-of-country bank?

I dunno, but this is not looking good.

I've got a large check coming and I don't want to walk into my bank with a hand-written check from the Bahamas after I've had 2 bounce since Black Friday.

Could just be b/c of a large number of recent payout requests due to the update.

I'm trying to get used to the update, but it's not easy. Keep timing out, overlapped tables, no preferred seat, etc.
Meant to say "bumped from 7 to 15 days".

Others have confirmed this in other threads.

Yeah, I def doubt that BoA atms will take hand-written checks. I've never tried though, but I bank there too.

Very obv why the ATM wouldn't take the check if it's as you described. ATM needs to be able to read the check

I received a check from the Bahamas. The check cleared. No problem. It was handwritten as well. Their routing numbers are different thats why the ATM won't read it. The bank teller told me this. The tellers can't scan it either. They have to manually input the deposit.

BOA ATMs do accept hand-written checks normally. I've deposited quite a few over the years (though none from poker).

Hand written checks from Bodog lol, get your money off. Bodog doesn't care about the poker player! Their software is not secure and with the new update bugs out there with the anonymous tables hackers are already working on learning to hack player accounts.
