10/09/2011- $500 check requested.
10/18/2011- Fedex tracking and reference number received.
10/20/2011- Check received
10/21/2011- Deposited check to my savings account.
10/27/2011- Called my bank and found out the check had "insufficient funds" and they charged me $19 for returned item fee.
Bodog told me I needed to fax them a copy of the check and bank statement. I did, but I blacked out my information and account number for privacy. Here is the response I got.

Thank you for contacting Bodog Financial Services.
We have received your documentation, thank you. Upon reviewing your documents, we are unable to verify the reason why the check got rejected.
In order for us to investigate this further, we kindly ask that you send us a copy of the check with stamped reasoning or a formal letter from your Bank stating the reason why it was rejected.
Once we received the required documents, we will update you within the next 12-24 hours for an update. Do ensure that your account number is accompanied with your documentation.
So I got the check stamped with reasoning, but I'm wondering why they need my account number? Doesn't make sense why they need any information about my bank. They didn't need it the first time when they sent me a check, so why would they need it now. Sorry if this sounds silly, but I'm not used to this and I just want to make sure it is safe.
