No its not true at all. Check processors get shut down or close do to UIGEA all the time. Its a big cat and mouse game currently.

i'd say wu would be almost impossible for them to shut down, since I don't think they actually use real people for it and do everything electronically. I had a payout a couple weeks ago in about 37 min, from cashout to when I had the email with the #

Interesting that they don't use real people. Now that I think of it they never ask for ID when I deposit but I use my real info because of it being tied to my poker skin account. For now I can cashout via check 1x a month and have no fees on the withdrawal side because last I checked WU was pricey, but you can't beat the conveniance.

For anyone having questions about receiving a payout via a certain method...

Although you might have the option available in your cashier window to withdraw via MT, RT, or bank wire, I almost 100% positive that you must deposit using that method a few times before you are actually able to withdraw using said method. Email/Call CS and I am positive they will say the exact same thing.

Now why bodog gives you these withdrawal options in your account details and ends up converting your payout to check if you attempt to use one of them is beyond me. One would think they could just tell you. But it's kind of an unwritten bodog policy I guess.

Call me paranoid or cautious, but there is no need to post where the check is coming from! Anyone that reads the last 5 pages will know that players are getting paid.

Not true. I've withdrawn by WU but never deposited by it.

Also, Direct Bank Transfers are back as an option in my cashier...

Anyone have any trouble with bounced checks lately?

I'm in CA and I'm about to request a payout by check. How long will this take to get to me?

And is Bodog trusted to send the scanned ID and credit card to? Nobody has had any problems with this?

Looks like checks are doing good as always taking about a week in general. You may not get a tracking number at all though. I don't know why people are talking about bounced checks, I don't see any reason to think these checks would bounce.
