you sure it's just not payable at a USA bank like they all are? I haven't seen a US check from bodog in years, been east asia lately.

Been a lurker here for a while...some of you may recognize me from lower stakes PLO on Bodog. (been away for a little over a month though) Just coming in to say...my last Rapid Transfer withdrawal went through without a hitch...money in hand in 24 hrs. Don't see why anyone would have money on Merge, with this option available on Bodog. (even though the fees are outrageous.

Kinda of funny how Bodog can't even make a software that doesn't crash every few hours, that you can't reload half the time, that mistakening things your already playing the max 4 tables, that has a memory leak, etc etc etc. Yet some freakin way they manage to actually get you your money in a decent time.

I guess id prefer that? I guess whats the point of playing on software that actually works if you can't cash out. Hell I guess id play by e-mail if I still got paid.

Pretty ironic that I praise them for payout and they screw me 5 mins later.

Americans, beware of how you ask for payouts. I just had my first instance of shadyness. I e-mailed customer service and asked them if I could use Money Gram as a payout. I was advised via e-mail that I could. I asked for a 400.00 payout at 6am EST. It was approved at 10AM. at 10:01 AM I get an e-mail saying that it would be via Currier, and that I would be charged a 50.00 fee for this being my 2nd check.

I e-mailed customer service to advise that this is NOT what I had asked for and that I do not want a 400.00 check with a 50.00 fee. I want to cancel my payout or change it to 3K. I was advised it would be canceled except I am going to get charged 40.00.

I called customer service to complain. I should not have a to pay a $40.00 cancellation fee for something I never asked for. I had specifically asked customer service If I was going to be able to use Money Gram. I even got some BS response saying how that our payouts are their 1st priority and I could use any method I wish.

The CS rep told me on the phone this is not true, and I will never be able to use moneygram or WU because I used a credit card a few years ago. Which is fine, but I should have been advised this first when I asked. And I definitely should not have to pay a 40.00 cancellation fee.

Pretty shady when you specifically asked someone a question. They confirm, and in very certain terms that it will be fine. Then they charge you 40.00 because you were told the wrong info via e-mail?

The CS rep told me she will inquire if I can get my 40.00 back, and I will know in 2-3 business days.

Pretty shady. Its not the 40.00, hell I rake more then that a day on this site. I hate being nickel and dimmed and lied to at the same time. If the first rep made an honest mistake, then fine we all make mistakes, but don't charge me 40.00 for your CS's person mistake.

I would ask you for help Justin, but I know you don't do payouts. So this is more for other people to beware that bodog will change your payout method how they see fit, and charge you a fee for the privilege.

You will get your money back. I've been told misleading things too but they always clear things up. I think the problem is having different payout methods for players and CS gets confused about which method is available to specific players. I think we all should have the same payout options.

Update: After a 30 minute phone convo, I had the payout canceled and the 50.00 fee returned. So far, no 40.00 fee has appeared. Will update if I get charged for it. It appears my 6 e-mails and 1 phone call work.

What is hilarious about the e-mails is that they send you something, you respond back, and they send you a carbon copy, word for word of their first e-mail.

Apparently calling them is the way to get things done.

For the last few years, every check has looked exactly the same - regardless of whether it was from Canada, US, etc. This check looked completely different and even came with a piece of paper attached to explain to the cashier that it is good and who to call for questions. The bank teller went in the back with the check for 5 minutes, came back and said I was all set.

Another difference is that it explicitly says you MUST cash it in the payee, and payee only, checking account. Meaning these checks are not to be endorsed to anyone else - and I think it also means your not supposed to go to a check cashing place.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I'm the Global Brand Ambassador and Fact Checker for Bodog Brand and I'm more than happy to help out should you experience any payout issues. Gemaco, if need my assistance, please send me a PM with your account number and I'll ask a senior CS manager to look into this situation for you.

Also, yes, calling CS is a great way to get things taken care of quickly.

Becky

People in NY have MG and/or WU as an option if they so choose. These options have high fees and you are limited in how much you can receive. Using MG and/or WU too much for internet gambling will result in that company preventing you from using their services.

I would NOT recommend playing on ANY site from NY, WA, D.C. and MD as the processors are going to be hesitant to send you a payout. All US players are facing a huge risk by playing online, but even more so in those 4 states listed.

(That is what the trolololol post above me should have said)

I have never had any problems with BoDog payouts or checks however as a GA resident I no longer have the ability to deposit with WU. This means I will need to receive my payout via MyPayLinq which is now my primary deposit method.

My money has always deposited without problems and BD paid my MyPayLinq account within 24 hours after approving the payment.

However MyPayLinq has not provided me with my payout information as of yet. It say up to 15 days. Today is the 15th and still have not received any info. I will keep you updated.

In the meantime I would advise all of you to use WU and receive check by courrier as it has always faired well for me.

I believe MyPaylinQ is having issues in the US as well. I got the following letter from them a day after opening an account with them.

Dear Customer,

In light of recent developments within our industry regarding customer withdrawals and the difficulty we have encountered in moving funds into the U.S. to facilitate withdrawals, it is with much regret that MyPaylinQ will be suspending all United States customer withdrawals until further notice.

All customers with pending withdrawals currently in our system will be paid.

We will do our best to have all outstanding withdrawals processed within the next 2 weeks to 4 weeks.

We will continue to work diligently on your behalf to restore our U.S. market capabilities as soon as possible.

If you have any questions regarding a pending withdrawal please email cashier@mypaylinq.com.

Kindest Regards.
