Just transferred btc from Blockchain to Bitpay wallet using the lowest fee and took about 2 hours for confirmation.

Then odered a Bitpay card using Bitpay's wallet. So once I receive card, hopefully can go straight from Ignition or Ignition > Blockchain > Bitpay card if need be.

Always use a middle wallet between site and exchange/Bitpay card. Blockchain does not have the "protocols" in place to send to Bitpay card. So you would still have to send to Bitpay wallet first. Be aware not to deposit directly to Ignition using Bitpay card. In another thread today, someone posted their Bitpay card was cancelled due to sending funds to a gambling site. Mycelium and Electrum are popular wallets used to send directly to Bitpay card.

Exchange --> wallet ---> poker
Poker ---> wallet ----> exchange

What are the popular exchanges and wallets to use now that coinbase seems to be a hassle judging off of the last few pages of this thread? In the past, I used coinbase as my exchange and blockchain/kraken as my wallet.

Is the BitPay card like a debit card? Can you withdraw $ from a ATM without the funds going to your main bank?

Guess you could say that, since the Visa BitPay card is a debit card. ATM fees apply and a $2 charge assessed by BitPay card. Cash back with purchases- market, Walmart- incur no fee. I load my card by Carbon>>Electrum>>Bitpay card. Then good 2 go.

Anyone? Is there a preferable exchange and wallet these days?

Thanks in advance.

I use Gemini to cashout, Coinbase to deposit. Coinbase is still completely fine, but the fees are higher then Gemini. I also think you can't instantly deposit on Gemini, which is another reason why I don't

Sweet good to know, thanks for the info - is there a maximum? Nice way to get the cash without going through a bank for potential questions. Still not sure how they view gambling sites.

https://news.bitcoin.com/bitpay-visa...t-card-review/ It is necessary to use a wallet compatible with BitPay card "protocols" to load card- i.e. Mycelium and Electrum are popular choices. Blockchain does not have the "protocols" enacted, therefore one can't transfer from Blockchain to BitPay card.

Got email from ignition saying they processed my bitcoin cashout over 1.5hrs ago and the money still hasn't hit my blockchain account.

Has it ever taken this long for anyone else? I looked at my last few cash outs and it's never taken more than 10 minutes for the money to show up...

I also got an email saying they processed my bitcoin cashout around 10 hours ago and have not received anything. Last two bitcoin withdrawals went through with no issue so not sure what's going on.

I emailed and they responded saying it can sometimes take up to one day due to bitcoin congestion. A few hours later the money was in my blockchain account. So it took about 14 hours from the time they sent me the email saying they processed my cashout.

I normally don't post about my withdrawals, but is this just a coincidence? put in a request last night for $1,300 and got it in less than hour.

Next day I get this random email in my spam:

Hello, Halstad

If perhaps you've recently been far more careful, you would not have received this note. I don't think that having an affair on a side is an unusual concern, although when your other half discovers regarding it, and also all your family, buddies on The facebook in conjunction with pics and video, i truly doubt that they will enjoy it.

I've been following your ass, fairly recently, and was shooting pictures of what you were up to in your free time. I do believe your family won't be pleased whenever they uncover the reality. I been following you throughout the city for a week, and have enough proof to mess up your whole damn life.

You only have a single opportunity to repair everthing ... Now i'm allowing you 24 hours to send me 1300 USD. This is going to be good enough for me to resolve this issue with you once and for all. It's up to you to decide and pick now.

This is your decision, in case you want me to just forget about this entire stuff, in that case this is my btc address: 1B3982wJsTFfhTtNBYj5dYffiYVnedk1t5 (BTC)

To get this done, use localbitcoins.com or maybe various other related platforms or just use search engines to look for other wallets.

Don't try to make contact with me or the authorities, I prefer cracked mail box to ensure the police will not have the ability to find me, otherwise I'll immediately send shots and vid to all people you ever knew.

Soon after cracking open this email, you have only twenty four hours, I am checking my btc wallet constantly, in case within time frame given I do not get anything at all, I'll take action.

Just seems odd they would ask for exactly the amount of my withdrawal. mods can delete if this isn't allowed.

Was it to your email linked to bovdog or your wallet? Or are they the same? You don't have to answer, but maybe contact bovdog security if it is through that email. Obviously not a coincidence.
