Circle no good anymore.

Buy BTC through Coinbase, send to Blockchain wallet, and send to site from Blockchain. Also, for withdraw, you should send to Blockchain, then to Coinbase, then to Bank. It should be like this:

Deposit: Coinbase > Blockchain Wallet > Bovada

Withdraw: Bovada > Blockchain Wallet > Coinbase > Bank Account

you kinda missed a step. use coinbase login info to log into GDAX exchange and initiate your bank wire from there (after sending to blockchain). always completed w/in 1 business day

I never received the money, upon contacting Ignition they sent me the following link showing the money was sent to an address as seen below on blockchain.

https://blockchain.info/address/1DkN...QaBUm1dfQnGiBD

They claim that that is the btc address I submitted, but I can't see how that is possible. Here are possibilities that I have looked into in an attempt to figure out how I messed this up:

-I submitted an address with a typo by copy/pasting and missing 1 number or letter (odds that this would be a valid address are around 1 in 4.2 billion, I don't run that bad ).
-My wallet was compromised (I have no new or unusual logins on my blockchain wallet. Furthermore I checked my list of btc addresses I have generated on blockchain.info, and there is nothing close to the address they claim I submitted. I have 2FA on everything possible)
-My ignition account was compromised, and someone logged in after me canceling my withdraw and requesting a new one to this address (Ignition security told me there are no strange logins or cancellations, furthermore my email and other wallets have no unusual logins)
-I accidentally sent to coinbase or another exchange. This is extremely unlikely as I always use blockchain, but even if I had accidentally done this, the money was cleared out 2 hrs after it hit, at 2:30AM my time when I was asleep.

I am racking my brain trying to figure out how I could have made a mistake and screwed this up, but after talking with some knowledgeable people, I can't see any possible way it was on my end. I'm still open to it and would like to hear ideas anybody has.

If it wasn't on my end, that means that an ignition employee would have had to somehow change the address that it was sent to. There is one peculiar thing I should mention. I was in Canada and ignition froze my account for being outside the US, after about a week of play. They told me I could still withdraw, but I had to call in and have the account temporarily reopened to request a cashout. I spoke with a guy in support who unlocked my account and told me I had a 30 minute window to withdraw. I only bring this up because it may have meant there was someone manually reviewing my withdraw request as I submitted it. Furthermore I believe I dealt with this same person in the future in my numerous phone calls with Ignition trying to get this settled. On two separate occasions while we were discussing the missing $9500, the connection appeared to cut out. I could hear him clearly, but he was claiming to not be able to hear me (the connection was completely clear, and I had no issues before that) saying "Sir, I can't hear you, it appears we are disconnected. If I do not hear a response within 30 seconds I will have to terminate the call. Sir, are you there...etc" before hanging up. This could definitely be coincidental or unrelated but I thought I'd mention it.

At this point I've had 4 phone calls with Ignition, and they've told me if I have no way of proving I didn't submit that address, there's nothing they can do. I'm not sure how I could have real proof. If I was intent on scamming them, I could have generated a normal blockchain address, screenshotted it before submitting, then swapped it out for my secret hidden wallet. This way, even if I had "proof", it wouldn't prove anything.

I want to let everyone know to be more diligent in documenting their cashouts and wallet addresses, and also to ask if A. there's any way I could have screwed up the request. B. where to go from here? Thanks in advance for the help.

TL;DR: midstakes 6m player requests $9500 cashout that clears but never arrives. Further investigation shows it was sent to a btc address that was immediately cleared out after the cashout hit. No unusual wallet/ignition/email login activity, and I have 2FA on everything (except ignit).
I've heard of Trojans that recognize when a bitcoin address is copied to your clipboard, and automatically copy a new address (their btc account)

Im not really sure, but I remember reading a post kind of similar where ignition said they for sure sent the payment and the guy just couldnt see anyting there, but after furhter investigation he looked in there are like different wallets and its like hidden or something. Im not really exactly sure, but because you are saying you are creating new addresses every time and messing with that maybe its like in a hidden wallet or address. go on the left hand side of the panel on blockchain and look in addresses and wallets

Wow thanks, that's definitely something I hadn't thought of, and a possibility, but it seems really unlikely as I've sent cryptos 15 or so times in the past few weeks and maybe 3-4 were bitcoin. They were also copy-pasted and all had no issues.

Hey, thanks for the input and idea, but the money was moved out 2 hrs after the withdraw hit, so it can't mistakenly be in any hidden wallet/exchange I have. After it was moved out it was also cycled through 4-5 different addresses in roughly 30 minute intervals.

Just a little warning here.

Bovada (and several other sites) are using shady Chinese payment processors who are SKIMMING about 8% off each transaction. I'm referring to deposits.

This is ABOVE the stated deposit fee.

For example, if you deposit $500 at Bovada, the 5.9% fee adds $29.50, and then about another $40 gets skimmed, showing up as about $570 on your credit card.

I'm not talking about bank foreign transaction fees. I'm talking about using a card with no foreign transaction fees, and this still happens.

I would advice you do NOT use a credit card to deposit there.

On a related note, I am buying BTC now if any of you want to sell.

Called them again just now. I tried to explain my frustration as politely as possible with how ridiculous it is to take a week to approve a bitcoin payout.. The guy comes back on the line and the money is in my wallet by the time we are off the phone. Either a complete coincidence, or they have more ability to expedite payouts than I thought.

Requested BTC - 8/29 2am pst
Received BTC - 9/4 1pm

You do understand that they don't just get your payout request and go "oh gee Joeblow wants his money, here ya go" right?

They basically look over your account history and even review your play each time you request a cash out. They want to make sure you're not abusing bonuses, multi accounting, colluding, or otherwise cheating in their games. Not to mention you did request a cash out right after one of the biggest sporting events in history...

Obviously if you have a solid history with them your payouts may go quicker. Or if you play the same format all the time. But maybe for this period you won your money playing sngs or in the casino as opposed to your regular cash games as an example. Maybe they need more time to review your play.

Anyways it's pretty ridiculous you're crying over waiting a couple of days for a poker cash out. Ah how soon we forget... just last year their best method would take a week minimum!

Guess debit is actually the better method if you are using some kind of card for now & not Bitcoin. I deposited for the Mayweather fight and got the 2.8% international charge tacked on to the 5.9% fee but the odds made it comparable/better than other sites to bet with that even in play. Still seems like a joke either way, thanks a lot US government.

You're pretty much right. I'm just spoiled from them usually sending these so quickly. That said I've been on here for years and I've never had an issue with my account. Then again, if it took as long for Bovada to pay as Carbon used to, I just wouldn't play.

the thing that's probably most ****ed up about the old carbon/merge network is that if you knew the right people and raked a decent amount, you could get super fast payouts/wires while everybody else had to wait weeks/months

Yes. Yes. The problem is, if the exchange determines you are sending/receiving funds to/from a gambling site, your account is subject to closure. The exchange is a financial concern regulated by U.S. law. Hence, the buffer wallet, Blockchain.
