It lets you convert btc to whatever currency you want and store them with no risk to the price fluctuations of BTC. I ordered my bitpay debit card, so im going to give that a try too, but circle really is a piece of cake. For the people not using bitcoin because they're ignorant to it or confused for whatever reason, I really cant understand the reluctance to not learn and use it, but whatever.
I suspected as much. I'm guessing there is a grace period but circle will be closing this loophole in the future.

i don't know if i was lucky or someone was just staring at the email screen, but last night requested max 9500 btc w/d and was approved in 7 minutes. this was at 1am so not standard hours either.

so i requested another one right after hoping he was still there, but it's been about 10 hours and still waiting. i find my avg time so far is about 4 hours total. it's so great. [also not a brag post -- figured maybe they cashed out so fast because i've deposited way more in last 7 days ]

Yea, I've tried back to back withdrawals and they told me 1 btc withdrawal every 3 days. The longest it's taken was 30 hours, and all other bitcoin withdrawals took anywhere from 15 min to 2 hours.

I have a mycelium wallet as my personal wallet on my phone and i had my circle btc address saved on there. when i would cash out I would have it sent to my personal wallet and then to the same address for my circle account everytime. Since Circle announced they stopped buying and selling btc i wanted to see if it would still work so i tried it with a small amount first. 5$ in btc and checked and sure enough they just convert it straight to $. So next I sent 1k in btc and the same thing it showed up as usd on my circle account. Went to the cashout option and got the confirmation the money was on the way to my bank! So just a heads up, you can still use circle. Also on another note Im pretty sure Ignition "washes/scrambles" the btc already when they send it to you. I checked the details from the withdrawal they sent and it was from like 50 different addresses for all different amounts and finally totaling my withdrawal amount. Im still going to use my personal wallet as an in between but im pretty sure you could withdrawal straight to coinbase/circle and not have any problems, except they might be suspicious as to why your getting funds from someone using a scrambler idk. Anyways, cheers guys!
Thank you for posting this! I used this work around this morning with no problem. It will be interesting to see how long this loophole remains open. It appears circle isn't giving a higher BTC valuation on these transactions anymore though. USD from blockchain to circle was exactly the same for me.

To anyone who uses coinbase... I just did my first cashout from ignition to blockchain. I transferred my bitcoin to coinbase. I need help on how to get it to my bank account/debit card. My debit card is on file as that is how I bought bitcoin to deposit.

Do i now sell bitcoin to cash wallet?
Once it is in cash where do I go to get it back to my bank/debit card?

Sorry for the strange questions, but I can seem to find where to go to actually get my cash on the website.

Thanks for any help you can give me. I am just lost trying to figure out what come next.

Check the transaction history from your bitcoin wallet (blockchain or whoever you use). Addresses should be saved there.

the easiest most noob friendly way to convert your bitcoin to actual cash on Coinbase....just use their USD wallet option. under your wallets you should see a separate "USD Wallet" where it will give you a wallet address that will instantly convert any BTC that you sent into USD for a small fee. from there you simply move the funds to your verified bank account which costs nothing and usually takes 2 business days maximum.

I've deposited from circle to block chain to ignition. I have now withdrawn from ignition to block chain. Can I still use circle? If so how?

Just cashed out for the last time, rec $2873.88 in under 24 hours. So long ignition- the Bitcoin cashout process is the only thing I'll miss.

Do you use an intermediary wallet between bovada and circle? You should have been doing so, as circle could have locked your account for gambling if they noticed transfers coming straight from bovada. That intermediary should have a transaction history.

Otherwise, I don't know. I'm not aware of a way to find BTC addresses in ur bovada or circle transaction histories. Bovada customer support might help you out. Requesting that info from circle is probably a bad idea.

Unless you emailed or texted wallet addresses to yourself to facilitate the transaction they might be gone. Just sign up for coinbase, and go that route. It's not hard. But use a BTC wallet (blockchain) as an intermediary this time!

So I did a small deposit via coinbase on the 7th and have yet to receive my funds even though they have been removed from my checking account. I contacted their support team twice with no response. Is this standard amount of time?! It took two days for them to process my payout however so that I am happy about. I guess I would much prefer it this way I just am curious about my funds deposited.

What day did they tell you the bitcoin would be released?

When you buy bitcoin on Coinbase with a bank account you have to wait around 3-5 business days before the ACH clears for them to release your bitcoin.

The exchange rate is locked in at the time you purchase. For example: you buy 1 bitcoin at $700 on Monday. On Friday they will give you 1 bitcoin no matter what the value is at that time.

For people wanting to deposit to poker sites I would suggest instead that you should deposit money in to your "USD wallet" on Coinbase.

It still takes a few days for the ACH to show up, but when it does it credits you with the dollar amount in your Coinbase account. From there you can use it to purchase bitcoin and they will release it to you instantly.

It ends up taking the same amount of time overall but doing it this way will only expose you to the exchange rate for minutes instead of days.

And if you plan ahead and keep some money in your USD wallet you'll be able to purchase instantly and make poker deposits on demand.

I know that I'm in the minority here, but I requested a check because I don't play online very often and have been too lazy to set up bitcoin.

Requested withdrawal 12/7.

Verification Team requested documents that night; utility bill and photo ID were sent on 12/8.

On 12/9, they disabled my account after noting that "listed address doesn't correspond with your account activity." I emailed back telling them that I had played at wifi hotspots while traveling. Also told them that the activity took place for over a month prior to this day. Account was re-enabled later that day.

Since then, they have not processed the payment. The emails say it is pending, and when I called them up they said they are dealing with a high volume of withdrawal requests.

Not thrilled with the situation.

unfournatly this is somewhat standard. assuming you have done nothing wrong they will get back to you and re-open account within a week

Well that's the weird part. They re-opened the account the same day just a few hours later. It's now been 120 hours later and they haven't moved on the payout.

Should probably set up Bitcoin and cancel it. Bitcoin really is much better, and you don't need to worry about a check bouncing.
