Anyone play 50nl / 100nl on BetMGM? At least at 50nl, the games feel much more of a limpfest on BetMGMMI compared to Stars.

Was just wondering if it's the same at 100nl?

Watching streams, it seems the 200nl+ games are similar (and mostly the same player base) on both sites.

Are notes not permanent on this site? I could have sworn a had some notes on a guy and next time I see him at table, nothing there.

Overall cash player pool seems a lot more fishy than on Stars. (which is hard to believe lol)

No, people choose to play different places for different reasons. Stars is going to attract more "regs", even though the best regs will most likely play both, most people don't do this.

Had been drinking a bit when I posted this. So I was confusing…I meant that 200nl+ looked like it has a lot of the same regs on both sites (same screen names).

MGM has way more open limping and people just mashing pot as their only bet size than Stars. It's like all the terrible live donks that play at MGM just discovered that online poker is a thing that exists.

Looks like the note problem is officially back. I had a note/tag on a player, and the note/tag showed up when I looked at the replay, but not during the live game. Looks like I'll have to contact support soon (fun).

Does anyone know if Tourney Dollars expire? I've not won any yet, but the wife has won 2 - $45 qualifier tickets on her account from the BetMGM Spin the Wheel promo and won the ticket to the Sunday $40k both times this week. One converted to $215 in tourney dollars....was just curious if she needed to use them quickly or not...normally she just plays the $5 or $10 knockout tourneys when she's bored.

I'm thinking of finally taking this plunge (although maybe later when I can put in the necessary volume to clear the deposit bonus).

A couple questions. It looks like they offer a $1K deposit match for the casino, however this looks like an ass promo as it has a 15x play through requirement (or a 150X if you play blackjack) which makes the EV of it only $250 and I'm not sure I want to bet $150K on blackjack and take on the risk of that for only $250.

Can you get both the $1K casino match and the $600 match for poker, or is it one or the other? Early in the thread the comments said the $600 bonus wasn't really clearable due to site volume. Does that seem like it's still the case?

1. BetMGM customer service rep told me that as long as I was able to see deposit match poker promotion, I was able to take advantage; I've yet to try and deposit due to no need.

*I Originally took advantage of a pre-sign-up bonus that consisted of sports/casino before site went live.

2. Give or take, BetMGM has had 2-3 reload bonuses. I've done these reload bonuses, and regarding #1, I still see deposit $600 promotion.

3. Currently, there's a spin promotion; they've done this 2-3 times since launch. I've won tons of tournament tickets (up to $250) for free.

4. BetMGM traffic and game selection is terrible (tournament player). However, as a tournament player, there's tons of value on the site, and if I were you, I'd sign up ASAP.

is it due to some sort of geolocation error? if so, i'm also experiencing this issue. anybody know a fix? fwiw i've tried all the trouble-shooting techniques mentioned on their site

Do you need a wifi dongle for PCs like you do with Stars in order to be geolocated? (I lost mine and might have to get one on the way home.)

Seems to be...like in the middle of a hand...I'll get a "need to be in Michigan to play" pop-up. Let's me finish the hand but then sits me out. Thank goodness too...it happened in the middle of a hand where I had quads last night. Won a 140bb pot haha.

Yeah was happening all day for me today. Stars was working fine at the same time. I plugged in wifi adapter to my laptop which picked up more wifi signals, but still "could not locate me" in Michigan and kicked me off in the middle of the hand 4-5 times today.

I'd have to log out and log back in and then within a minute I'd be back to playing.

I had this geo-location error happen to me in the daily 10k at the final table down to the final four last week. Get the pop up in the middle of the hand right on the flop, had what I thought was a good 3barrel bluff hand. Bet flop/ bet turn out of position, and then it just auto folded me on the river after one villain called twice in position. Then see it auto-fold AJo pre on button unopened w/ 8bb. Might be the most tilted I've been ever as I was frantically pissed off seeing the whole thing transpire knowing I have to log out and log back in and pray the geolocation thing works.

Would not recommend playing tourneys here at the moment.

This verify location happened to me last night as well. Hoping they get their **** together as I haven’t changed anything in my end. Odd that I can play for an hour or two then all of a sudden this comes up.

Yup - it's been awful on BetMGM :/ I pulled my money for a few days since they stopped the Daily spin promotion again. I'll redeposit when my wife says she hasn't had the error for a couple days. Traffic is too low for me to concern myself with on a daily basis.
