so thur night / fri morn i was updating all my devices (phone, tablet, chromebook, laptop, desktop) and making sure i had the most recent site software and everything worked. 99% of my volume is with my desktop PC but my PC is on its last leg and i wanted to make sure everything was ready to go just in case.

i was having a real problem with chromebook and dl/ uninstalled/ signed in a lot of times and i think that might have been a red flag? or some software on one of those devices set something off? i couldnt get sites working on chrome book maybe they cant work on chromebook? i dont know

around noon friday i go to log in on and i couldnt sit tables getting something like " cant verify you in state". i email them and last night i got this.

i just sent my verification docs in but am confused.

i worry ill get the ok but later use a device that sets off verification issues. ive asked them to send me the name of alleged software or if they can tell what device i was on.

i put around 70k cash hands in this year and never had a problem besides a 2-3 min disconnect.

on desktop i only run poker sites, pokertracker, calculator. i use it only for poker/ pokertracker.


Anyone have to deal with this before?

"(mj_myusername) " weird they claim my username has to have a "mj_" infront of it and and i gave them a wrong username. like instead of LLinusLLove they want me to write down "mj_LLinusLove" ??

and your date of birth weird again nowhere in the first email does it say i have to write down my DOB. im giving them a copy of my ID after all.

ive asked them over and over can you tell me what program exactly tripped the geo block or what device i was on. And they will not tell me. so i can get approved and then i might get flagged again???

its like a joke. i dont understand WTF is happening.

My assumption is all the device switching is what flagged your account initially. My wife got flagged a couple weeks ago, but sent in a photo ID / bank statement. It was cleared up pretty quickly. I believe hers was because she flipped devices in the middle of a tournament. She generally only plays $10 tournies....but her laptop was being goofy so she had switched to my desktop. Otherwise - Google Desktop / Teamviewer / Autohotkey scripts are the common offenders I believe.

yeah im 100% sure it was my recently bought USED samsung chromebook either had a program on it im unaware of or just the DL/uninstall/ sign in like 10 times trying to get sites to work on chromebook ****ed me.

did she have to send the this odd liability statement?

do you remember how long it took?

just got another email about how they rejected my " liability statement" b/c of the odd "mj_" prefix they want me to add to my username and that i didnt write down DOB. but i did both those things the second time i submitted verification docs. just tried to submit for the 3rd time. HOPEFULL.

She did not need to send a liability statement. Just photo ID / bank statement and a picture of her holding her ID next to her face. Only took about 3-4 days to resolve...

First, Bgetmgm has their own unique account name for players that has nothing to do with their screen name, usually your first name followed by a set of numbers.

For example: mi_John257699

This account name used to be shown when you log into their website, but it's no longer there. I have since seen it on my win/loss statement or deposit/withdrawal emails.

Sometimes it'll just be listed without the prefix such as John257699.


Also, are you sure they used the prefix 'mj' instead of 'mi'? I was under the impression that the prefix just indicated what state we're in.

Not sure if all this is the issue, but figured I'd let you know.

I've had similar things happen to me, likely because I was traveling extensively through Michigan and using/resetting different devices. Also, you can't use a VPN even if you disable it for Betmgm via a bypass filter/split tunnel.
The more I know - Just found the "JamesXXXXXX" in my deposit email.

yeah i asked them why _mj but wasnt giving answer. i thought it might be a typo and they meant mi or nj(new jersey) but in 3 different emails they said to put _mj infront of my username.


looks like my liability statement was accepted after the 4th time i submitted it.

Ticket has been closed - most of my hands imported properly (duplicates were tracked and previously failed hands processed). There were a couple that failed a second time....but good enough! So if anyone has hands that didn't process due to weird overbet all-ins, reimport your hands.

Tournament files from July 21 - Sept 1 are still jacked up, but whatever, hopefully all's good moving forward. . .

You have to purge and import the hands again or import them to a new database because it was a parsing (import) related change for PT4 (and eventually for HM3).

I guess some of the issues I had weren't addressed in the latest update, but I don't blame PT4. I don't expect them to fix every issue BetMGM decides to f**** up. Sometimes I feel like it's deliberate, but Hanlon's Razor comes to mind.

Ive asked in 4 separate emails to please
1. tell me the name of the program they detected, and
2. if possible what device it was on
3. how to search PC/device for possible programs

and they just ignore me.

i worry ill go back to playing and set off the red flag again and get perma banned.
im going to wait a day and try emailing one more time before i put any volume in.

going to stick with my desktop and phone and not play on tablet, laptop or chromebook bc im pretty sure it was one of those 3 that caused the problem

Yeah, after a decade plus of doing support for HM1, HM2, and HM3 I can say it feels like a game of whack-a-mole trying to keep up with all these site's changes some times.

Edit: And the same goes for trying to keep up with the HMx bugs on our side of things lol.

after getting the all clear on sept 22 now on the 24th this....

the only play i had after getting unblocked was:
* i deposited 25$ on borg, party, mgm to get a 25$ sat ticket
* i played a 25$ sat with tick and a 10$ sat w tik on borg on 23rd
*i played a 25$ sat (not same mtt as borg one) with tik on party (won a 100$ tik) and a 10$ sat (not same mtt as borg)w tik on party
* deposited 725$ on party to get the 500% deposit bonus
* bonus didnt go through so i emailed support
* on 24th logged on to MGM to use 25$ and 10$ sat tix and got the above.


before my play on sept 23 i made a short video showing my desktop, my task manager showing what was running on my desktop while logged on to party and sitting at table. Then made a video showing me walking from that desktop to the front of my house so they can google maps and see my location is as i claim

wasted effort im sure. i dont get it guys.


sent an email in asking wtf to mgm now... as i cant see an option to live chat with support anywhere.

think this nightmare is over. took 10 days but everything seems good now.
