I got hacked and someone pulled 850 dollars out by BitCoin. America’s Card Room said they would look into it but two weeks have passed and I’ve heard nothing.

Any ideas?
Anyone else in this situation?

I am not trying to defend the cardroom but they did not give your money away. You got hacked to do whatever reason it may be ..weak password ,shared computer, virus hack or none of the above.

There is a slight chance that you will get your money back because withdrawals or login into your account can only happen from a trusted

. Even if someone were to hack your login they couldn't get in with another device because of the two factor authentication method.

I am not sure what happened here but your chances are very very slim.

I’m not sure what happened either but it is ludicrous you think they are absolved of responsibility, who would keep their money there if it was not secure.

Finally, no follow up is reprehensible.

They were part of a stuffing attack. A few people were effected. Maybe you were one. Stsy patient. Email support n hope for the best

This explains it. This happened exactly at the right time.

That sucks, what sucks more is they are not even responding to me.

Guys- if you have money in ACR- they are based in Costa Rica and it is not secure.

Hope they do the right thing and refund you the money, $850 is about 1 minute of rake earned across the website, wouldn’t cause the slightest dent to refund you the money and bite the bullet themselves.

Good to hear. They usually do the right thing except for telling us how accounts are being breached. Especially since they need access to your email to get past the new device sign in. At least you got your money back
