New client is strange to say the least.

Why am i not sat at the table xD.

When i go to fold, for some reason i want to click my sitename :\. (maybe just muscle memory)

Cant see who is at the table. Really small dark player boxes. Fonts merge with background.

I agree with other players, its a step backwards for now. Sack your UI crew.

OK I may have spoke a bit too soon. I was tilted because i disconnected, and then when the software loaded it was a new UI xD.

I have used it again since and it is not really a step backward, it just needs some tweaks. No need to sack UI team just yet :P.

- Open Lobby/Identical button is under a list, these could have their own button (less clicking is good and misclicking isn't detrimental)
- Player timer is a bit bright (it just needs dialling down a little bit)
- Hero cards are a little small and give us an option for parellel view
- Action/Sizing buttons are a little small even though there is a lot of space
- I notice the notes kinda work, but all the colours are jumbled up. It would be great if you can fix this.
- There is no "Resume All Tables" traffic light feature.
- I am not sure about the Player name and stack being up in your face like it is. Just feels weird at the moment.

It clearly should just be built into the client but if you have 888Caption it's possible to have it auto click it.

Also got forced to update the software yesterday and will just have to join everyone that says it's unplayable. I will try and follow the downgrade process now but if this becomes mandatory at some point I can't imagine playing there anymore and I think a lot of other people feel the same way. Please don't force this on people because of sunk cost of making software. You tried something new and it didn't work out, it happens. Part of what everyone loved about the old software was the simplicity of it, to me this feels more like a flashy mobile game where it's impossible to keep track of anything.

Lets just keep it the way it has always been, sit us at the table. Nobody has ever complained about that. Give option to have "No Card Overlap". Dial down brightness of the timer. Increase Action button sizes.

I get an error message when updating the latest version, mind you I am on version 7 after receiving the regfix , that changes the registry in Windows.

So now I am stuck here.

I used the reg fix and it updated fine.

There's no need for the reg fix now as you can go back to the old client in the settings, although you lose the new bet slider options. If you could have the new betting options on the old tables it would be perfect.

Had a lot of errors like this over the years. Best is to just deinstall and reinstall.

I have same issue but I don't want to reinstall the new version.

I tried reinstalling and it works now. BTW you will install new version but there is option to switch back to the old table layout in the settings. Look at post #22708 there's a screenshot.

Nothing is clear, if you had competent programmers and not complete goofballs you could set up the player accounts in their currency, like most other pokersites. Grabbing 5€ of a $100 deposit or withdrawl is just a Shyster business approach.
Currency exchange fees should be YOUR cost of doing business in countries that have Euro or Pounds.

Did you restart after making the change? Started working for me after I restarted the 888 client.

Sorry but with your updates you do everything possible to scare your customers away. Ok, it is possible to go back to the previous version, but you have to restart the client, re-enter your password AGAIN (as as you have to do every time you get kicked out), change some setting in order to retrieve all your custom settings. It is simply annoying … 888 was my favorite site, but since 1-2 months it has become a third choice and the hands I have played has dropped significantly and will tend to 0 if you continue with your policy to publish **** updates and a bad rakeback program.
