Still no answer from 888 on my side.. it has been more than 3 days.

Why are people still bothering with this scam of a site? They have fitted the Terms and Cond, to protected them 100% and screw the player simple, Obvs in your situation they took something that seem like it may be chip dumping and took your money.

It's a lot like the leaving you money in your account for a extended period of time (only for them to rape you account) So obvs player funds must not be in there own accounts separate from other funds.

I have stopped playing , withdrew all funds, and deleted the software from my system, was actually going to give them another chance, but the 888rep on here told me it was too bad the rules are the rules and he don't make them, However he can provide feedback to change the rules, but he knows and does not care one bit about one customer when they are making millions off of user accounts that have balances on them for a extended period of time without logging in a playing.

This is nothing more than a way to rip off customers, there is no way they would get into the BBB with that policy. So again they don't care So GL to you. I would be finished close account delete and move on.

Also read a tread that player had his money taken after not logging on to the account and they did give it back but it took forever and many many emails to support, supposedly 3 years ago or something, Glad I come on 2+2 for info, as I will never play there again and I used to play it everyday.

Then after I write a email this higher up guy from 888 PM's me with a threating PM and the 888 rep do not care.

What kills me even more is all the customers that don't know that they are being ripped off and even farther prob do not know they got ripped off, or that they could (might) get it back cuz from what 888rep said that the rule stands , so from the T and C's it does not say that they money taken is refundable to player,

So 888Rep can at least the T and C's be changed to reflect that you will take the money on a dormant account however it will be refunded upon request. (THIS WOULD BE AWESOME) if you could just not remove this horrible policy in the 1st place.

I actually was pretty happy with the customer support I was given at lucky ace poker the skin I was playing on . One time they had some technical issues and I got disconnected couldnt connect and lost some sngs. I spoke with support by live chat and they refundend me all but one sng which we had a different opinion about. They sent me some xml sheets and I loooked through them with me connecting/disconnecting and saw I was not refunded. I pointed to them the exact tabs and they saw they were mistakend and they refunded me . All in one day by live chat. This thing that happened surprises me greatly as I thought their customer service has grown to much better .
Again this might be some flaw , perhaps an automatic thing of the system and their policy makes them take this long .
I am eager to see if anyone official will respond to this or just ignore the thread

Just to update, the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction by 888 Support, after a live chat session (not much help), and a few emails to support.

So I didnt have any data every playing this guy neither on HEM , neither on sharkscope nowhere. So I started looking through his sngs and he has played against Sonmychest. . With a dot at the end , my screen name is Sonmychest no dot after it ! This cant be possible I e-mailed them now hope I dont need to wait 48 hours.

What in the hell is the point of the "fold to any bet" radio box. It seems pretty redundant and I've clicked on it a few times by mistake which is pretty annoying.

Also I miss the stand alone "check" button rather than "check/fold"

It seems that their collusion-detection scheme might be a little too aggressive. Seeing the hand histories of Corvette1981, 888 seems to accuse users of chip-dumping if they call an all in bet with a winning hand!
If you've never played against the guy you're accused of collecting chips from, that's even weirder. Let's hope it turns out to be a case of mistaken identity.
I would hope that they give you some sort of compensation for the all the trouble it's caused. Maybe they should give you Platinum status or something!

After reading this thread the player pool would have to be insanely soft for me to ever considering playing here when they come to the US market. Could those of you that play here list any positives of the site? Or are the players just that bad that you choose to play here?

I think in my case its just an example of human error. I think the person that has the same screen name as me but with that dot at the end is a scammer and for whatever reason he chose to copy mine because I am regular there or something like that.
I actually needed to rake like $200 before I got blocked to keep my platinum status something I would have definately managed to do. I also lost the last of my 3 sngs because my account got blocked and I remained registered in the lobbies.
Almost 24h passed since I highlighted the fact they didnt see a dot and that person is not me and still I havent got an answer.
I really hope they dont take two more days to spot a DOT.

I disagree. It's useful when it's limped to you in BB and you flop nothing.

I called them and they told me what the live chat support told me yesterday , there is nothing they can do only the operations department can decide this.
So again waiting 3 days for them to spot that dot and see it wasnt me playing that guy but some scammer.

Is anyone having problems with the alert sounds?

I've been playing on 888 for about a week now, and I use the sound notification to tell me when it's my turn to act. This worked perfectly for the first couple days, but yesterday and now today it's not working at all.

Settings are exactly the same; I can't figure it out.

Support also told me to talk to them regarding the refunding of the lost sngs due to their mistake and I also asked in the e-mail to reinstate me the status I deserve.

Yes fix this very annoying.

just delete the old files in user/documents. copy and paste any notes you want to save to the new file. you'll have to reset all your preferences which is annoying but better than waiting 6 months for 888 to fix it (if they ever do)

Things that could be better:

A "Check button"

The ability to resize the lobby window

Option to stop (or at least limit to only having to see it once) the annoying IE popups when you log in

Option for players in different timezones to qualify for your "bonus" freerolls which run at a relevant time for that country/timezone, rather than have one freeroll for all players on the site regardless of timezones/countries in which they live

Or alternativly tournament tickets/$, so we can sell off tickets to tournaments that we can not play in.

Bonuses for 2+2 forum posters as a "thank-you" for providing feedback
small playthrough bonuses, bump in "status" via a status point bonus etc.

Im not sure if this has been answered as im only halfway through the thread but

The cashier instant pops up when you have less then the minimum deposit amount in your account. Nevertheless, this can be quite tilting and should be fixed.

Overall I think 888 has quite good software and support yet a few key negatives i see are

1)the structure of the daily bronze freerolls is terrible. Why make a freeroll have money rebuys and money add ons, not to mention UNLIMITED 10k chip add ons on the break. I myself added on 25 times and went on to win one, but is that really fair to players with no money in their accounts and want to have a chance of even cashing in a freeroll. At the moment the freeroll pool is being beaten by the amount of rebuys and add ons so your technically not putting any free money up.

Solution- get rid of the rebuys and add ons and make it a normal freezeout. Its only 200 bucks a day or so it wont cost much. Also consider adding a daily silver and gold freeroll (they dont need to pay much more then the bronze but make them freezeouts).

2)The ability to rebuy before the first hand of a rebuy tournament needs to be fixed and fast. This was brought up a long time ago and if it takes so long to fix something as small as that it is concerning for players. After all players do expect a company such as yours to be able to access computer programmers with the ability to fix such things.

3)When you check the HH replayer a feature of continuous play through hands as well as different replay speeds is needed. In addition each visual hand replay should also show a text version of the hand to save you seperately going through notepad to find a particular hand you want to post on a forum etc.

4)More micro stakes sng's are needed. 45 man sng's and 90 man knockouts similar to full tilts seem ideal (warning : do not adopt any other full tilt policies or procedures). Normal and turbo speed 18 and 27 mans would good as well.

5)Add daily country freerolls. Australia and oceana, UK, germany, france, spain, south america etc

6)The payout structures in tournaments are too final heavy weighted. That is 11-20th get the same, 20th -30th get the same etc. I understand some players might like this style but it becomes a problem when in some cases the min cash is less then the actual buy in for the tournament. Try and make more increments as in 10-12th get x, 13-15th get y and 15-18th get z.

Ill probably post and add to this list. Im not saying that 888 is bad but infact I like it and feel there is room for improvement and am happy to provide any suggestions. In compensation, I would like to recieve a 100% rakeback account .

One last note, the other night I was playing a few mtt's and noticed that while I was playing the lobby was saying Id finished. Other players at the table I asked to check what my status said and they confirmed I was finished. I went on to cash in one or two of those mtt's and did recieve money despite it saying that I had finished out of the money. Whilst i got payed the fact it said I was finished when still playing was quite disturbing and almost tilt causing.
