Close out 888. Then while running as administrator:

1. Press WIN+R, and type "regedit"
2. Navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\pacificpoker\poker\INI T"
3. Find these three entries:

"ENABLE_QUICK_HISTORY_TABLE"
"ENABLE_QUICK_RING_TABLE"
"ENABLE_QUICK_TOUR_TABLE"

Change all the values from 1 to 0

Then re-open 888

Hopefully the 888 people don't remove these settings. Clearly there is plenty of feedback

As long as the software is used as intended and outlined in the in the User Agreement, then we have no issues.

You can find the User Agreement here:

Hi Guys,

Recently, we launched a beta version of our new tables for trial by a select few players at 888poker, and some of you were chosen to participate in the beta test.

At this point, we’re in the process of evaluating the results and preparing for the final upgrade. We’re constantly working hard to offer you the best gaming experience and your help has been invaluable.

For the small size of your new software which im assuming almost everyone will use then i'd recommend the following:

-resize table to make the height smaller proportionally to allow tiling with other sites
-colour notes to be the background colour of the full opponents name
-timebar for action to slowly slide across your name or a bar below. Going around the name really creates a rushed state of panic
-have your stacksize/cards on the table instead of outside the ring like all your opponents. It's very hard to quickly judge your stacksize+opponents+action in the current format
-increase card size, graphic quality of cards+ font of stacks
-have somewhere on the table stating your tournament position + players paid (or the old 888 system of how many until the money if you prefer)
-re-arrange the table positions for a more even spacing. At the moment when you are button and utg raises the stacks become very unclear as the the player 3 to your lefts bet is almost hidden.
-allpw customised background colours. Especially for your pskos as at the moment the table colours + fonts are really an eye soar.

Overall i wouldnt say the updated client is a complete write off but it certainly needs a lot of editing to bring it up to date with competitors and even to your old software. At the moment the ui really reminds me of the old betfair skin from about 10 years ago which even then was a very outdated and clunky poker client.

I realize this is not your fault 888 rep, but this is soon going to get very bad for 888 and it's disgusting the way you are treating Swedish players. I have received legal advice and many players are considering discussions with the Swedish regulators. 888 will risk having their license revoked. You do not have the right to keep players with accounts in good standing in limbo without access to their accounts as you are doing now. It's been over a week in my case without a single useful reply via email support. I don't want 888 to lose their license, but at this point, the way you are treating customers it seems deserved.

Having my emails ignored, my PMs ignored, my message here ignored, is not sitting well. This is a very important issue and you posting about other, far less relevant issues, while ignoring this is not okay.

Hello,
i switched back from beta to the older software. 888.com gave that possibility as they send me an email. But now i want the beta version back. Is that possible as well? Seems to me the beta version run more fluent. Or do 888 have actually server problems? At least i want to test the connection from both versions. Thank You for your support!

As I have previously said if you don't give me an ID name (poker user name) or email address there is nothing I can do for you.
Surely you can understand that!

wth is wrong with 888. I was in the middle of my session(old design) then the client suddenly crashes then when I open it again, the beta version(new) pops up. THis is just annoying. I understand that this is a step towards improvement but I feel like you guys are messing it up too much.

Just give an option to everyone instead to try out the beta version instead of shoving it down to everyone's throats

Surely you can understand that after 2+2 was hacked, and the site owners themselves warned of giving personal information on here, it is normal I ask you for another place I can send it to you? Please give me your skype username, email address, or some other secure way to send you my personal information.

Regarding the terrible new software at the moment I will not write anything. This has already been discussed in many places, if you want to lose your business at an even greater pace, release poker 8.

1. Will the button be available to sit in a waiting list?
2. Will there be a normal transfer of color notes from an old client to a new one?

It may be worth calling that number yourself so you have an understanding of how much help is actually provided by calling that number. Sadly, it's none. I've not found a single person on the phone or by email who is actually making a real effort to help. Waiting five days to get a completely worthless email that ignored my questions and issues, then replying in detail again and waiting five more days for the same drivel is unacceptable.

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: January 27, 2019

“Utd879908” Claims Sunday Mega Deep Title for Nearly $20K

This week’s $215 buy-in, $100K GTD Sunday Mega Deep attracted 355 players who rebought 158 times, which created a $102,600 prize pool. The top 45 players got a piece of it including “23NoraB” (28th - $666.90), “Juliangard” (15th - $1,282.50), “Fruity26” (9th - $1,795.50), and “Mr.Fonzi” (4th - $8,464.50).

After “888topPair” bowed out in third place for $11,286 – he’d also finish third in the Whale, which you’ll read about below – the title came down to Brazil’s “Yattag0” and the UK’s “Utd879908.” It took 11 hours and 32 minutes for things to come to a head, but eventually the latter came out on top to win the $19,853.10 top prize.

“alwayswin111” Slays the Whale

The$1,050 buy-in Whale had 34 players rebuy 14 times. Some of the big names to compete for the $50,000 prize pool – but fail to get a piece of it – were 888poker Ambassador Martin “MJacobson888” Jacobson, Niklas “tutten7” Åstedt, and “Mark_landers,” just to name a few.

Only the top five players got paid including “HateH4teHate” (5th - $4,000), Anton “anteen” Bertilsson (4th - $5,000), and “888topPair” (3rd - $7,500). After 5 hours and 33 minutes in the tournament, “alwayswin111” defeated Brazil’s “BeeTheBeagle” in heads-up play to win the title and $20,000 first-place prize.

“EZ.PZ” Makes the Sunday Challenge Look Easy Peasy

The $109 buy-in, $20K GTD Sunday Challenge surpassed its guarantee by drawing 192 players who rebought 53 times. That meant a $24,500 prize pool would be paid out to the top 27 players including “Lucky_Frutti” (18th - $306.25), Bryan “DePittsterje” Paris (10th - $428.75), “Namlleh” (6th - $1,225), and “YSoSerious7” (3rd - $2,878.75).

After 7 hours and 42 minutes, the UK’s “EZ.PZ” claimed the title for $5,267.50 while Belarus’ “kozirok_bel” took second for $3,797.50.

Germany’s “JaNeiZZzKl4r” Weathers the Monsoon

The $55 buy-in Monsoon surpassed its $10K GTD by drawing 226 players who rebought 53 times, which created a $13,950 prize pool. Among the top 36 players to cash were “Hala1988” (25th - $118.57), “dayofwin” (13th - $188.32), “TomBrady17” (4th - $1,185.75), and “n0sferatv” (3rd - $1,576.35).

After nearly seven hours, it was Germany’s “JaNeiZZzKl4r” defeating Russia’s “4_seasons” in heads-up play to win $2,852.88. It came a little over a month that “JaNeiZZzKl4r “outlasted a field of 82 players to win the $12,000 Mega Deep event for $3,300.

Brazil’s “brunobezerr4” Takes Down Sunday Deepstack Starfish

The $22 buy-in, $5,000 GTD Sunday Deepstack Starfish crushed its guarantee by attracting 300 players to the virtual felt and seeing them rebuy 80 times. That created a $7,600 prize pool that was paid out to the top 45 players including “Renato2322” (32nd - $49.40), “keyhell” (21st - $57), “Artistelis” (9th - $133), “ozzie22” (4th - $627), and “LuckJesus” (3rd - $836).

After two minutes shy of nine hours in the tournament, it was Brazil’s “brunobezerr4” besting Canada’s “lunchbox1980” in heads-up play to win the title and accompanying $1,470.60 first-place prize.

On Their Way to Vegas!

Remember, every Sunday at 20:30 GMT now through June 888poker will host a $1,050 “WSOP 2019 Main Event Package Qualifier.”

Those who win their way into the 2019 World Series of Poker Main Event will be awarded a prize package valued at $12,600. Those packages include six nights (July 4-10, 2019) at the luxurious Vdara Hotel in Las Vegas, a $10,000 WSOP Main Event buy-in, $1,000 for travel and expenses (paid directly to your 888poker account), and an invite to a welcome party at the Vdara Hotel.

This week’s qualifier had 29 players rebuy four times, which meant two packages were awarded and the third-place finisher, who in this case was Sweden’s “AMORFAT,” won $7,800 in cash. The two players winning their way into the 2019 WSOP Main were Greece’s “valuetown11” and Romania’s “CoCoMic.”

What to Expect Coming Up from 888poker

Next Sunday, February 3, we will host a one-day “RakeLESS Sunday” promotion, with seven tournaments free of rake! Buy-ins range from $7 up to $300.
Check the rakeLESS tab in the poker lobby for the schedule.
Thanks!!
