Holy shiet that new version

1) icon notes are gone
2) waiting list option is gone
3) layout looks like some facebook poker game - very awfull
4) and holdem manager stoped working aswell

and thats the product of several months of hard work of entire IT team?

Am I the only one still playing on the old version for some reason? I am the lucky one so far it seems.

And i asked about the new version of the software yesterday and was looking forward to it : (
Maybe i should be lucky that it takes a while for us in Sweden that plays on 888poker.se to get the new version : )
If its NOT anything like Pokerstars or Partypoker or the GG network i am going to be very disappointed : (
Is there any settings to create your own betting sizes like 2,12bb 2,49bb and 2.79bb preflop and 33% 47% and 68% postflop in the new version??

So now part of player pool is able to use wait list and huds while those who have updated version of the client can't? VERY COOL

Your not missing anything. 2 days ago the client wouldn't load for me, so I uninstalled and reinstalled and got the new table layouts.

The new software is the worst piece of poker software outside of the asian appgames that I've ever seen. Reminds me of VikingBet from 2008, Cartoon Network inspired horror.

I appreciate 888 wanting to improve itself in the new year and everything, but this is definitely a step in the wrong direction.

Please consider rolling back the update, or at least give us the option of using the old software.

Amazing how many different people decided this client is better, and released it full of bugs. Like nobody realized the new software is a downgrade in so many ways?? What are the improvements? Seriously it's like 888 doesn't like money. Waste months and god knows how much $ in developing this junk, to lose more players and make even less money....genius

Give us option to play on old client

Don't like how hero's nameplate is different to all the villains and Name/Stack are horizontal not vertical.

Villain nameplates are way too small.

Hero hole card (actually all cards) are too small.

I am still playing the old version of the software , I'm located in Norway.

Please give us the option to keep the old software , the new one is according to my friends the worst they have seen. And this is 2019 , I think you should sack your IT guys. If you want to lose customers you do a good job.

Pokerstars and Party will get my business if you do not give us the option to choose !

Its a way to eternal glory of 888, just get rid of entire IT departament,which was absolutely incompitient during all these years. But its prolly someones newphew is there

It feels like an alpha version.

There are no waitlists for people on the new software (WTF, seriously?!), the looks are just more cartoonish and ugly to look at (subjective, yes, but judging from the other replies here I'm not the only one who thinks this), the buttons are still not customizable, there is no tooltip to tell you what the new buttons do, "we" are not seated like the rest of the players, instead we get our stack at the bottom of the table for no apparent reason or benefit... It's just a bunch of changes, and honestly none of them seem to be for the better. Perhaps the tables look a bit more modern, but you could've achieved that by simply adding table themes, like the other major sites.

What is the reasoning behind letting some people keep playing on the old software, whilst me and others are forced to wait until something happens, or play at a disadvantage? I'm super bummed about this whole update, and will be playing elsewhere until something happens.

I am not sure if my previous post was counted as constructive or not so I will repeat myself again:
I think it is unfair that part of the player pool is forced to play at disadvantage - you should release the new version either for everyone or no one.

Seriously........why is none of the poker AMBASSADORS saing anything? wtf is this upgrade? its cartoonish and horrible...........fix asap or people will have to use party or ps

I dislike:
- the fact that most of my notes (relied to icons) are gone
- the bet slider has no option "pot bet" and it is not possible to customize the settings
- the nameplates (villains) are to small; it is hard to read the names and the stacks, idem for the holecards or the size of the note icon
- if you hover the note icon, you mainly get the player name + stack size but only a very small part of the notes (1 line).

I cannot find any improvements. You changed the layout, but it didn't improve it got worse ... and you didn't add basic features (like the possibility to customize the bet slider). User setting options haven't improved !

I have to quit playing on 888 sadly, plz revert back to the old tables.

I looked forward to this new software update but now i just feel empty.
And to not have customize settings for bet sizes is a huge mistake in my opinion!
And i read this about the new upcoming software a while ago:
“more engaging and modern poker experience” ?? Improved table display and lobby functionality?? And "Inspired by player feedback" What players have you talked to???
This update is absolutely horribe : ( If you think that this is going to attract more players to 888 poker i dont know what you think about? Unfortunately even more players are going to play somewhere else.

Remember you can go into the SETTINGS, found in the poker lobby where you can find ways to change some of the table layouts and other default settings.
