Hi again, I don't think you replied to my other question and since this is what I do for a living I want to be 100% sure and not risk anything. Please confirm that there is no rule against using HEM/PT and checking data on players during a session, while playing. Thanks!

Is there anyway to use a normal table theme and not the god of the areana theme?

No there's no way in the settings to do this.

That was the first action I took but when I checked it was still there so maybe it takes a while to kick in.
The best practice is to always check the settings first.
Thanks!

Has anyone else suffered from being auto-reregistered (that they do not wish to re-enter) after busting a tournament, just because they were typing a note on another player when the message box pos up?

Keeps happening, how is this a thing? Costing me fortunes.

Why did the 16.50 20k guaranteed Big Fish freeze, then get cancelled with the prizepool evenly distributed regardless of position? The rest of the tournaments kept running with no problem, but this one was terminated 30 spots from the money after a long run. Why?

In the last couple of days since Progressive Knockout (PKO) launch we noticed some players are asking if they can remove the PKO theme from the client.

This is possible in the PC client but can’t be done in mobile.

This can be done in settings menu in the PC client via TABLE LAYOUT then uncheck USE PROGRESSIVE KO THEME.

you'd need a chat function within the seperate game lobbies for players to chat before a game starts as well as with more players than only your seperate table

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: October 14, 2018

UK’s “Sysinho33” Knocks Out Competition to Become God of the Arena

Sunday’s premiere online tournament on 888poker was the $55 buy-in $1,000,000 GTD God of the Arena Main Event, which was a progressive knockout tournament.

With 12,087 players rebuying 3,066 times, the field enjoyed a healthy overlay. The top 2,000 players got a piece of either the $621,175 regular prize pool or $378,825 bounty pool. Among those to finish in the top 100 were “MrSweets23” (62nd for $621.17 + $422.07 in bounties), “mikeunger” (27th for $1,118.11 + $393.12 in bounties), “wannagamble1” (11th for $2,360.46 + $466.11 in bounties), and “popsnpoker” (3rd for $22,672.88 + $6,278.29 in bounties).

After 12 hours and 48 minutes, the tournament came to an end when the UK’s “Sysinho33” defeated Ireland’s “sully4428” to win the title, $51,815 in prize money, and an additional $12,421 in bounties.

Russia’s Andrey “ifearpanic” Pateychuk Takes Down the Mega Deep

The $215 buy-in, $100K GTD Sunday Mega Deep surpassed its guarantee by drawing 173 players who rebought 173 times. The $105,800 prize pool was paid out to the top 48 players including Mike “Pipedream17” Dietrich (15th - $1,428), “Imyurfriend” (6th - $3,967), Fabricio “DrMiKee” Gonzalez (5th - $5,554), and “Nordynordbrg” (4th - $8,199).

After Sweden’s “backdown8” bowed out in third place for $11,373, the title came down to Argentina’s “SHIGAON770” and Russia’s Andrey “ifearpanic” Pateychuk. It took nearly 12 hours to get the job done, but eventually the Russian claimed victory for $20,366.

Two Players Prove They’re Up for the Sunday Challenge

The $109 buy-in Sunday Challenge drew 217 players who rebought 71 times, which meant the $30,000 prize pool was distributed amongst the top 36 players including “ZDamian” (35th - $225), “tikkapekka” (21st - $255), “funnybunny” (10th - $480), and “alexos888” (6th - $1,350).

After 8 hours and 51 minutes, the title came down to Russia’s “Darya_Kurt” and Malta’s “L0bby0wner22.” The duo opted to work a deal in which the former got the title and $5,336 and the latter second for $5,300.

Sunday Deepstack Monsoon Ends in Heads-Up Deal

The $55 buy-in $10,000 Sunday Deepstack Monsoon attracted 177 players who rebought 46 times. That created a $11,150 prize pool paid out to the top 27 players including “shaplachow” (24th - $111.50), “ghandivan” (9th - $223), “iiiziii” (5th - $669), and “aeon.nOOb” (3rd - $1,310).

After just over eight hours, the final two agreed to a deal in which Belarus’ “mistrJackpot” finished in second place for $1,907 while Sweden’s “1LevelAbove” took the title and $2,219 in prize money. Back in May 2017, the Swede topped a field of 1,000 runners to win the XL Inferno Event #182: $45,000 Sunday Breeze for $9,000.

Lightning 6-Max Strikes Two

The $55 buy-in $5,000 Lightning 6-Max saw 74 players rebuy 28 times in their quest to win a piece of a $5,100 prize pool. Just the final table of nine got paid including Bryan “DePittsterje” Paris (7th - $204), “I_gravas” (4th - $510), and “mistrJackpot” (3rd - $765), who you might recall from above finished second in the Sunday Deepstack Monsoon.

After just under seven hours, the final two players cut a deal and then played it out. In the end, the UK’s “Merfinis” won the title and $1,222 in prize money, while Finland’s “Baistipoika” took second but for a superior $1,328.

What to watch out for:

The 888poker LIVE London is heading to Aspers for a poker festival from November 22 through December 3.
The stop is comprised of 10 events culminating in a £1,100 buy-in, £400K GTD Main Event, which will offer five starting flights and run from Thursday, November 29 through Monday, December 3.

The winner of the Main Event will also claim an 888poker LIVE package for a future festival of his or her choice.

The festival is expected to attract players from across the world, including several making the trek from across the pond including 2017 World Series of Poker Main Event champ Scott Blumstein, 2009 WSOP champ and four-time bracelet winner Joe Cada, 2018 WSOP Main Event runner-up Tony Miles and 3-time (!) winner of the $50K entry WSOP Poker Player’s Championship, a legend of the game – Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi.

Support takes ages, that's why I was asking here. Are you saying 888 has different policies for PT/HEM usage depending on country? This is why the other poster asked if you were trolling. That doesn't make any sense.

I think the rep is provided with some stuff he's allowed to copy + paste here. He's got a copy + paste answer for PT4/888Caption, that's the best you'll get.

paging 888rep, please answer this. The email explanation provided today says "a technical glitch caused some tournaments to freeze". Please explain how this occurs to some tables and not others.

Unfortunately we had technical problems yesterday that caused one of our servers o crash, and as a result a few tournaments got canceled. We apologize for the inconvenience.
