Why is it that 888 feels the need to use shady ass methods when I try to withdraw money?
A few months ago I requested a withdrawal, after a few days it got declined. I asked support why and they told me I only played like 5 tourneys worth a few dollars buy-in since my last deposit. I double-check with Sharkscope and in reality I played dozens of tourneys worth thousands in buy-ins.

A few days ago I request another withdrawal, today it got declined. I ask live chat why and they tell me I have to verify my account first. Now, I have been playing on 888 for 5 years, have deposited and withdrawn money in the 5-digits and now I have to ****ing verify my identity? (I'm sure I have already done this in the past) You gotta be ****ing kidding me

Apologies if the solution is already in this threat. I have searched already for "sound" and "notification" but nothing helpful.

I'm looking for a way to lower the notification volume when it is my turn to act. As you probably know, even if I lower it from the volume mixer on my Windows machine, it just goes back to max. Have not seen any feature/setting in the 888 settings to adjus the volume.
I have also searched for the sound themselves within the 888 installation folder but haven't found them, there is a .dll in the audio folder. Is by any chance using the windows OS sounds?

Please help me out a bit here to either lower the sound or to change the notification somehow to different .wav that I can lower it using an audio editor.

In addition to that, I do have a 2nd query: How can I change the software and lobby (entire program) language to English? I'm from Romania hence I only have the Romanian language poker software but I really don't like seeing the fold/call/raise and all other in my native language, its just translated like.. ** I would really like a way to have it in English but although I have a "Language" tab, only Romanian language is in the list. How do it get English pls (tried already to download and install the UK version but it prompts me to play on the .RO software) ?

They often ask for ID, that is standard and it doesn't matter if you have previously done it. Just do as they ask and everything will be ok.

Question for people who deposited in 888 recently. Is it normal being charged a foreign exchange fee (BRL - brazilian currency to USD), even though I transferred the money from Neteller and my account there is in USD, not BRL?

Yes, they set it up this way to screw new and unaware players. Contact them and ask them to change your "settlement currency" to USD. Check on the deposit screen - the small text that currently says "your account will be debited xxx BRL" should say USD.

I recently cashed out $11500 to my uk bank account from 888 , i selected to be paid in £ (as i always do) ,, i received an e-mail from 888 telling me my withdrawal had been processed and i will be receiving £8473.01 ,,,, after my own calculations i was expecting around £9000 ,,, i telephoned my bank and asked if i had $11500 arrive in my account what would i of received ...... £8977.08 ,, so thats a whopping difference of over £500 ! ( this was all today so same exchange rates )

The best rate (XE) appears to be 0.76632 in the last month, which turns the $11500 into £8812. I would be very surprised if you would get XE from your bank, and are most likely 1.5-2 points off of it, so about 0.75132, or £8,640.

Again it depends on when it was sent, as the low in the last month is about ~0.752, which at 1.5-2 points off would be around £8475.

What rate were you expecting? 0.78? Its not been that since the end of August

Hey did you guys cut rakeback from like ~8-9% to ~2%? Cuz I used to get like 10$ per level cleared but now I get 3$ lol. My suggestion would be to just remove rakeback alltogether, 2% is close enough to 0% that nobody will care.

Quoting this from a few posts up. Everyone gets caught out the first time (that's the point of the fees).

This was other exchange rates for that amount yesterday -

And if I deposited $11,500 to 888 yesterday it would cost me £9,205.61 ? how is that possible when I have just received £8473.01 for $11500.00 that's a huge difference of £732.60 the same day

Downloaded and installed 888 software on brand new computer. Every time I try to open it the lobby flashes for a second then the software auto closes. Tried to run in admin mode as well, same result. Have reinstalled it two times already and nothing helps. Any ideas?

Yeap, BIG mistake . 888 exchange rate is way worse as VISA exchange rate (including 2% exchange fee) or Your bank exchange rate. You will not find any numbers on 888 site , only "These Exchange Rates are comparable with the daily commercial rates offered by most Banks and Credit Card companies." .I would not be surprised if they also apply "some 3-5 % exchange fee" .

Every time I try to sign in the client crashes. Just me or known bug?

Edit; worked after I reinstalled the client. Weird.
