888poker Ambassador Parker “tonkaaaa” Talbot Ships Sunday Crocodile
While streaming on his popular Twitch channel, 888poker Ambassador Parker “tonkaaaa” Talbot had a heck of a day online, which included four final tables and a win in the Sunday Crocodile, one of 888poker’s premiere tournaments.
The $160 buy-in, $30,000 GTD Crocodile attracted 213 players, which created a $31,950 prize pool. That was paid out to the top 27 players including Sebastian “p000cket000” Sikorski (18th for $399.37), Doug “PulledPorker” Lang (14th for $479.25), XL Inferno Octopus champ “SoulRead88uk” (9th for $639), and “Ibeturaise2x” (3rd for $3,754.12).

All told, Talbot cashed for $14,000 on Sunday, and as he said on Twitter:
“WE BACK BOYS. I REPEAT. WE ARE BACK. 4 final tables today $14000 in cashes and a Crocodile ship. WOOOOOOO #888poker back tuesday for moreeee.”

After “mustbez” and Michael “OneH1tWonder” Cano fell in fourth and third place respectively, Canada’s Mike “D0nkeyKong” Bailey and Russia’s “En|1ght” engaged in a heads-up battle. After 11 hours and 14 minutes, the latter prevailed to capture a $19,000 top prize.

The $55 buy-in $10,000 GTD Sunday Monsoon easily surpassed its guarantee by attracting 305 players, which created a $15,250 prize pool. WSOP Bracelet Winner Cashes Sunday Lightning
The $109 buy-in Sunday Lightning drew 175 players who accounted for 103 rebuys. That surpassed the advertised $20,000 guarantee by creating a $27,800 prize pool, which was distributed among the top 24 finishers. Among those to earn some cash were Michael “AcesJoker88” Acevedo (20th for $264.10), 2016 Super XL Series Main Event champ “Gr33nApples” (14th for $347.50), and Chris “NigDawG” Brammer (8th for $834).
Brammer is barely a moth removed from topping a field of 505 players to win the 2017 World Series of Poker Event #45: $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em for $527,555 and his first gold bracelet.
After just over eight hours, the title came down to Russia’s “powerpoke99” and the UK’s “pketazezbaby.” The latter ended up coming out on top to capture a $6,672 top prize. Back in March, “pketazezbaby” finished runner-up in the $20,000 Saturday Challenge for $3,309.
“LeshiyAS” Turns $30 Swordfish Buy-In Into $5K Prize
With 1,018 players, the $30 buy-in $25,000 Deepstack Swordfish surpassed its guarantee by creating a prize pool of $27,995. After a marathon 11 hours and 15 minutes – remember, this was a deepstack event – Estonia’s “LeshiyAS” bested Croatia’s “UNSTOPPABLE1” to win $5,039. It’d been a long time since “LeshiyAS” graced the top of the payouts. In May 2015, he came out on top of a 152-player field to win the $25 buy-in $2,500 GTD DeepStack for $771.42.
One thing is for sure, “LeshiyAS” knows how to turn a small buy-in into big scores.
