Got a hold of someone of the support on the phone. All he could do was to tell me to keep trying until it works. Of course it did not work.

Now I missed the only VIP freeroll worth playing. Awesome.

And why putting a live chat support if it's never available?

Apologies guys but we had technical difficulties defining the $10,000 VIP game and just to let you know that we are playing another one tonight (Sunday).
The game is already announced in the poker lobby.
Thanks

Are PROG Ko Tourneys ever coming?
Will we ever get custom bet sizing buttons? this should honestly be a priority.

Hi 888Rep. Is this the normal behavior of the regular? 3ppl sitout and waiting when King_ZeManel start to play or when is recreational player sitdown . Could you pass this screenshots to the security department for investigation?

Hey Guys,
Between 05:00 - 06:00 GMT tomorrow morning, we will be performing maintenance which is expected to cause client downtime of up to an hour. We will suspend registration to SNG's at 03:30 and to Blast at 05:40. Tournaments that would normally be running at that time will either be cancelled or given a more turbo structure (only for this occurrence). Cash games will not be available either during this time.
Thanks for your patience.

Welcome to 888poker’s Weekly Deal, with all the best news, results and insights from the past week.

THIS WEEK: March 26th 2017

Big Winners at 888poker + Dominik Nitsche twitches his win at Saturday’s Octopus:

Another 888poker Sunday has been and gone, with big winners – and even bigger prize pools – across the board.

We also saw our very own 888poker ambassador Dominik Nitsche take down the Octopus LIVE on Twitch!
Check out the final action here.

Mega-Deep + Baby Whale

888poker’s biggest tournament last night – The Mega-Deep, drew in 667 players, each investing $215 for an entry ticket.
Canada’s “OO6007” finished 3rd, with $13,340, whilst in 2nd place we saw 1 of the 4 Brazilians in the final 12 – “thulinho” - leaving with $18,009.
After close to 13.5 hours of play, “B_thebenlar” (last month’s“baby-Whale” winner) managed to take the victory for Canada, bagging himself a whopping $25,012!

In our second largest tourney “Baby Whale” we saw an international final table with some high-level poker and strong aggressive play.
One to notice is “romeopro33” who made yet another final table after reaching HU last week in the Mega-Deep.
Getting to the top 3, we saw some fearless poker with the chip-leader identity constantly changing.
“MisterN411” was the one to finish as top dog, claiming a prize just shy of $20,000!

Sunday Crocodile

410 players took part in this mid-high stakes tourney for a shot at winning BIG.
It took Germany’s “luckyr1ver” over 10.5 hours to wrap it up and secure a well-earned $11,801!

Sunday Lightning 6-Max, Sunday Challenge and Mini Mega-Deep all end with shaking hands

Starting with this week’s Sunday Challenge, 702 players who rebought 308 times created a massive prize-pool of over $85,000!
YordanPetrov” and “Graftekkel” shook hands, assuring the bigger stack of “YordanPetrov” an exit of $14,318.
“Graftekkel” managed to secure the win and leave with $13,185.

In this week’s Sunday Lightning 6-max, we saw 223 players making 85 rebuys in the action packed 6 player format.
Sweden’s “B.Mitchell” and “Mikel_Hansen” stroked a deal granting each player over $5,700.

In yesterday’s Mini Mega-Deep, we saw UK’s “benkins84” strike a deal with Romania’s “tofanlucian”.
Each of the top 2 left with roughly $5,500 after an investment of just $22!

Sunday Breeze + Deepstack Swordfish + Mini Turbo Mega-Deep

The 3 “low buy-ins” tourneys, well surpassed their guarantees, offering players the chance to win significant amounts.

1,075 players entered the Swordfish, creating an over $5,300 1st place prize for a $30 investment!
Brazil’s “lpmassia” took it down.

Looking at the other 2 tourneys, we saw Brazil’s “luish64” taking 2! runner ups, one with a deal!
The Brazilian player is no doubt extremely satisfied about turning a $77 investment into $7,636!

Germany’s “O.G.Pageka” was ahead of the Brazilian in the Breeze and Poland’s “ubinhhho” got the best of the Brazilian in the Mini turbo.

Saturday’s Octopus – taken down by 888poker Ambassador Dominik “888Dominik” Nitsche

Germany’s 3-times bracelet winner took the Octopus down good for $7,742!
We’d could tell you about a crazy hand played by the final 3, but you can watch it play out on Dom’s closing Twitch Here instead.

My HM2 database and my ending bankroll are way off for the session. I contacted support and they sent an Excel file of my Hand histories. I have since replied asking for usable HM2 files, like a zip of all my hand histories from the day in the normal HH 888client format of .txt.

Why would you send an excel .csv when someone asks for their HH's to fix their database or have evidence of a problem with their bankroll?

Ok, is this normal for anyone else? I took the excel file and added up all the Profit cells, they matched my HM2 database for winnings exactly. Which has my 888client bankroll off by a lot of money. How is this possible?

Ok, phone support figured out why their Excel files and HM2 database are the same but the client is different:

Jackpot Tables

they take 50cents directly from your bankroll every hand you are dealt into at a jackpot table. They do not take the money from your stack unless that is all the money you have left. In less than 2 hours I paid $120 in jackpot fees, excluding any rake I paid. Insanity.

HM2 and their Excel file will not tell you how many jackpot hands you were dealt into, they have to manually find each hand for you if you request that.

**************
888pokerrep, please send my complaint that the jackpot tables take your 50cents from your bankroll and not off the table stacks each hand. It is very shady to not realize how fast the money disappears and tracking it is difficult.

Adding to that, finding this information is buried in the website and not available directly on the poker tables or client. 888poker is going to great lengths to make it difficult for people to realize how much money they are spending to be at a jackpot table.

The icing on the cake is learning that each hand 20% of the 50cents from each player is going towards 888poker as a Fee.

Back on 888 for the first time in a while and can't believe the waiting list bug is still around. Did a quick google and found this email from an 888 rep posted on another forum, the quote below is from nearly five years ago:

"Dear XXX,

My name is Laura I am a Senior Rep at 888poker. I am contacting you in regards to your recent issues with our waiting lists whilst trying to join some of our tables.

It has come to our attention that when you contacted us regarding this matter you were given some incorrect advice of uninstalling and reinstalling the 888poker software in order to fix the issue. Unfortunately Istvan this is not a solution and will not fix the problem.

The problem with the waiting list error is something that we are aware of. It was brought to the attention of our technical department and developers who are looking into the matter. They are trying to find a resolution to this but unfortunately at the moment there is very little that we can advise you.

I appreciate that this is not ideal and it can be frustrating for this to happen especially if there is a particular table you wish to join. As I said above, at the moment there are no immediate solutions that we can offer you, we ask for your patience and understanding in this matter until our technical department can implement a fix.

Please accept our apologies not only for this technical error, but also for the confusion and incorrect information that you were given.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you require assistance with this or any other matter.

Kind regards,
Laura C.
Member Support Representative".

Then there's this reply, which dates back over 6 years:

"Hi Reraise,

I am truly sorry about that poor esxperience you had in the poker room.

I will look into this issue for you. As it is a bug, the fix will not be immediate and will have to await a version release. In either instance, I will take it up with the software developers and hopefully we will have a resolution soon.

Cheers,
Sean"
