How do you save the notes?

i dont have a notes file, your site is dumb and on one of the updates did something weird, now i have no 888 folder on my computer, and i dont even have the real 888 icon on my desktop, it just says 888 over a blank piece of white paper and i have to right click and hit run as admin to even open 888 (someone else in this thread had same issue and told me to try that)

so if i ever uninstall or change computers i will lose all my notes, because 888 is.......

Your player notes should definitely be somewhere on your computer.
Try START then put your poker user name in the SEARCH box and your player notes and folder may appear then just drag them on to your desktop.
Let me know if this works for you.

Playing SNAP and every 10-30 hands I will fold and then I am sitting out for no apparent reason. Every so often I get a pop up saying I cannot top up even though I am sitting with above full stack, have auto rebuy on and did not click top up or anything like that (and it sits me out when this happens). Also in the last couple days SNAP has just frozen mid hand or just after a hand and I have to force quit 888.

Not a huge deal but pretty dam annoying when your trying to get into a session and every 10 mins there's popups and disconnects.

Curious if this is because i'm playing on a mac and the software is just **** for mac users or if PC users experience any of this?

I can't download your software for Mac. The page just directs me to some web-based client.

nope, 'no items found' if there is an 888 folder on my computer it is completely hidden and impossible to find


can we add the user 'GialluBlu' to the list of campers that needs to get banned please, he takes up seats in full ring .50-1 and 1-2 games all day and basically never plays, i have no clue why he is wasting his time but its highly annoying to always have him taking up seats

Click START then MY COMPUTER then LOCAL DISC "C" drive then open the PROGRAMME FILES and look for the folder there.
You need to send the camper issue over to support along with your poker user name and they will investigate it.

When I first installed 888 and began playing everything was working fine, i was getting hands histories and my poker tracker 4 was working properly on 888.

Then all of a sudden my hud wasnt working on 888. Ive tried uninstalling, restarting my pc, and reinstalling and deleting registry files before reinstalling and changing the destination folder of the handhistories and nothing works.

hand histories are not being saved anywhere, and i do have the box ticked to save handhistories.

i feel this may be a common problem but havent read how to fix it yet. because ive done most of the things ive read on google.

What exactly should I delete from the registry about 888 poker?

I've deleted a few 888poker files in the past from the registry using regedit.... but i see the possiblity that i have not deleted 100% of the files.

anyone know all the files needed to be deleted in registry from 888poker.

If you want to reinstatall the poker client then you should click,
START then search ALL FILES AND FOLDERS for 888poker then delete all the files that show up.
You can also search for Pacific poker and do likewise.
Make sure to save your notes before you do this or else you will lose them.
Then you must RESTART your computer before you start the reinstall process.

Maybe it was a problem with your hud so therefore you should maybe visit their support pages for guidance if it happens again.

there is a file, but in the file are two things, one is the same blank white piece of paper looking icon that says 888 that has nothing in it (this is also what is on my desktop that i have to right click and hit run as admin to even start 888)

the other is 'uninstall 888'

that is the extent of what is in my 888 file

Maybe you could try r einstalling the client and see if you can find it then.

i will never reinstall again after the last time i reinstalled i lost all my notes even though i have the notes file and dragged and put it in the right place, i am scared to even buy a new laptop

i emailed 888support about the camper and they said they wont do anything

888 crashes 1-2 minutes in for me and reinstallation fails.

An I/O error occured while installing a file. This is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrupt installion file

I play as Artiparty in 888poker. I usually play 10/20 and 25/50 NLH

The seating situation is getting worse and worse, specially at 10/20. It becomes impossible for recreational players to join the table and they end up having a bad experience, so they will not come again to play poker. Imagine it takes 10 minutes for you to click fast enough to get a seat.

I think there are a few ways to solve the problem:

1. Not opening more tables until there are cards dealt to the players (When there are 3 players waiting).

2. Being more strict with the people who are not really willing to play against regular players but will keep opening tables just to have their own tables. I am 90% sure that if you just send warning emails they will stop doing this, but the lack of response from 888 has made that many regs are breaking the rules.

3. Using the 2 clicks rules used by pokerstars. If you try to join a game and you don´t join, you have one more chance to join. If you don´t join the next one, you will not be able to rejoin the table until 6 hours later.
