My bad I was angry so I didn't notice I didn't have the 8.55.

Its ****ing ridiculous. I contacted 888 Live support and they said they paid 93.83 and it must've been my bank that charged fees.

Yeah..my ****ing bank charged 24 dollars on a 93 dollar transfer..****ing idiots.

Not to mention I've made several cashouts from poker sites without fees.

Bit disappointed as I've joined this site to play in the daytime here as the site I'm currently playing at has very little traffic during these hours, but now I'm having to sit and wait.
There was a new update earlier today but everything is working on my end.

Very occasionally if you are logged in and there is some kind of disconnection, the system still reads you as logged in and you'll get that "Unable to Connect" error. Restarting the system cures this the majority of the time as basic as it sounds. The rest of the time a quick msg to support via Live Chat etc. and they can manually remove you from the system.

If you hadn't been logged on yet and were downloading the software for the first time, my best guess would be that your firewall is either preventing the download/install from working fully, or the software from starting up. Have you tried running without it just to be sure?

One of my banks charges $25 on every international wire transfer that comes in, regardless of the amount. So that is entirely possible (at the very least worth looking into to make sure).

Also you may have had a fee for over drafting the account.

First I must you do a great job.
I have a question:
- On the buy ins $200 and higher in Heads-Up non-turbo SnGs the time per each blind level is 10 minutes. ($100 and below always 7 Minutes)

For me I would prefer 7 minutes on all limits and a slightly lower rake.
I mean the action especially on the $400 + $20 non turbo level is nearly dead. It's because most players who like the gamble don't like the extremely slow structure with 10 minutes and good regulars don't play them because of the high rake.
If you look: There is the $400 + $20 level and the next level is $1000 + $30. So $10 more rake but 2.5x buyin.

I think most regulars would prefer a little faster non-turbo structure with 7 minute blind levels like on the $100 level and a little less rake, especially on the $400 + $20 level, which is in my opinion way too high for this high stake. (Also $400 + $16 turbo btw.)

I mean it can be only good for 888 because action on $420 non turbo was almost dead the last months.

Greetings from Germany & Happy Xmas
A lot of changes made to the upper limit HU games. Adjustments to the blind levels.

Also there is a $494 + 6 game that looks pretty good on the rake.

Thanks for the suggestions.

What on earth were the managers at 888.com thinking when they replaced the standard $50 double or nothing games with a crazy 10 seated 2 tables "new" double or nothing game? There was nothing wrong with the old game and i cannot envisage the regulars signing up for this new game because:

1. It makes multi tabling near impossible due to the 2 table format

2. It changes strategy completely from game to game - what happens if one table has 2 or 3 players and one table has 5? - You need to be a good short handed player to be successful - which is one of the main reasons why regulars play double or nothing as opposed to regular 6 seated DONS because they are no good at short-handed or hu play!

3. It reduces rake per hour for both player and site due to lack of multi table opportunities - what the hell??!

4. It will reduce traffic altogether at $50 level (not increase it as i assume they were thinking) as players will drop down to $20/30 normal double or nothings, or go up to $75 double or nothing.

5. These games are unfair to all as you could be put on a table of 4 regulars whilst another player could be put on a table full of fish. One main reason players play sit n go's is that you can choose the table you are sat at (ie a table of weak players) - these games take away that option as table selection is random.

Please get rid of these stupid games, or at the very least give players the option to play the old ones as well, or i fear that players will head straight to ipoker whereby regular double or nothing tournaments at $50 run throughout the day with good traffic.

I am all for the introduction of new poker games to the site, but please please ask your customers and listen to their feedback before doing something crazy such as this.

I will eat my hat if these games become popular, +1 if you agree.

Many thanks.
Looks like DoN's are back up.

$53.50 8 player Turbo
$55 8 player Non Turbo

I could delete the file, uninstall the software and install it again. But my notes, passwords etc. just don't be saved.

Before I could delete it, I had 888 installed again on the admin-user of my pc and it saved my notes, and all the stuff it should remember. How's that working??

No to both your suggestions. You think I wouldn't have researched this already?

Its simple, 888 only credited 69.38 into my account.

Are you telling me that my bank has no grudge against any other poker site but when it comes to 888 they choose to charge 25 dollar fees? Yeah right buddy.

The only fees for over drafting my account is interest which equated to 0.01 when last looked, not 24 dollars.

Best poker room in 2011 Guess the fine print must have been "at taking your money".

I'm not the only who has had issues with 888 stealing player funds through any means possible.

I lost my last dollars on 888, used all my points, and I won't deposit until they let me set buy in limits, and fix the tons of issues mentioned a thousands times in this thread.
It's incredible how unlucky became I am in this room lately. Ran a lot of buy ins below EV in sng's, and today, when I was down to my last buy in for .25/.50, I lost a ****ing four way all in with Kings full against quads..... I give ipoker or party a try.

lol I have a feeling you'll be back on 888 very soon. Even with the issues 888 has, it is still much better then both of those sites imo

i had a brief internet disconnect while playing poker on 888 , and the money I had on the table at the time was taken from my account balance when i reconnected. I reconnected and was removed from the table, and watched in real time as my account balance was deducted the exact amount I had on the table at the time. I was not all-in at the time of the disconnect, nor was I even involved in a hand. I was playing one table of heads-up hold em, and disconnected in between hands. I emailed support and still await a reply...i am 100 percent certain that this software glitch has stolen my money, as I watched it happen in real time. My game history and Hold em manager are in line with the story.

It is now a day later and my account balance is still missing the amount. please let me know what is going on here or get someone address this. i got an automated reply only, giving me this ticket: [Incident:120114-000879]

I currently have a account with luckyace.

Am i able to make a account with 888 directly? Feed up with support on luckyace plus for some reason pocket fives ranking dont capture skins of 888 but do capture the direct 888 accounts and i want a triple crown (would have one already if luckyace was captured!)

I presume i would have to close the luckyace account first....

It's happened before (albeit not typically for 24 hours). Support should straighten it out for you. If they don't I'll follow up.

You can open an 888 account, don't have to close the LA.

Question for the 888 Rep: Since you have recently acquired LuckyAce, would it also be possible for me to merge my two player accounts upon request as well?

Wonder how long "PutinMustDie" from Russia will be around. Will 888's data protection measures be enough to thwart the former head of the KGB (widely rumoured to be the most powerful man in Russia)???

Hi.

Is 888 offering a rakeback system like stars and Party poker?

Or do i have to get some sort of a rakeback and (bonus?) code for 888 to get a good rakeback deal?

Also, what is the lowest stakes at 888? Is it 2nl like stars?

Thanks!

It uses a Rewards/Bonus system like Stars does. You earn points by paying rake. You also get an instant bonus when you join, and can unlock a 100% deposit bonus.
If you sign up through certain afilliates, you can also enter a bunch of exclusive freerolls.
Lowest stakes are 2NL and 4FLH.

$400 100% first deposit bonus should kick in automatically. Check My Bonuses in the menu from the lobby to check out the details.
