Yes, it does. Just because you can use it doesn't mean it's allowed. This has been addressed in the past as well.

Is it possible you're thinking of another software program? Nowhere on the website can I find anything about actually selecting a seat for you.

I used TST when it was in beta and there was no auto seat function. It did add you to waitlists automatically iirc but that's all.

For what is worth Table Scaner in HM2 no longer supports 888 because allegedly it is against Terms of the site.

The team that is trying to fix the "Seat is reserved" bug is the same one that will track you down if you use the mentioned software for other purposes.

A friend of mine wants to start staking me on 888, we were wondering if it was allowed for a player to deposit money and transfer to another play without playing himself?

You have to wager the deposit/transfer a few times before you transfer/withdraw when stake ends.

If "your friend" is going to deposit and then transfer over to stake you, why doesn't "your friend" just hand you the money and you use one of the many options to deposit funds to your own account directly?
