Sure but remember that 888 policy is that u need to withdraw using the same method as u used for depositing. So if u deposit 5k from Neteller u must withdraw 5k to Neteller before u can choose to use any other withdrawing options.

Could you tell me what is pacific poker and what is 888poker? I downloaded both from different sites, they both install to /pacificpoker/ folder and both have 888poker desktop icons...
Is it exactly the same? I always thought 888 is network and pacificpoker is skin, just like ongame and bwin for example

Pacific is just the old name for 888. Anything you download from http://www.pacificpoker.com/ will be from 888.

I assure you that there is no favoritism in regards to this bug as it happens to everyone. I have been made aware that 888 is planning a fix for it, but that version will not be released until sometime in 2012.

If the waiting list bug is ruining your playing experience, the only advice I can offer at this time is to avoid using it, and hopefully 888 can get it sorted sooner than later.

I'll suggest the tables. I'm not sure there's anything to be done about hit and runs. Being able to leave whenever you want is the nature of the game.

Do you have a record of the transaction in your cashier? Transaction #? Username?

With this information I can follow up on it.

There are "anti-ratholing" measures in place. A player can leave whenever he feels like it (freedom ftw!) but if he returns to the same table with a certain time period (half an hour IIRC) then he has to bring back whatever he left with.
If you want to win your money back, you could always go and find that player on another table... but personally, I think you're taking it all too personally and getting tilted. Playing poker with a vengeance is probably not +EV.

If I were u, I'd buy a 30-incher (2560x1600 res).
For example Dell U3011 and HP ZR30W are good. They cost ~$1.5k a piece.

There must be one big enough to play 8 tables without overlapping surely?! Im sure i have seen pictures of poker coaches sat infront of their screens with 20+ tables non overlapping on the screen...

U missed this: default-sized.
I think a default-sized 888 tbl is ~ 800x600 pixels. So truly, with the exception of that one display I posted, no display in the whole wide world can accommodate 8 of them w/o overlap.

But ofc u can always resize the tbls. Minimum size is ~ 500x360 pixels.
So if resize them to minimum, u can have 3 rows and 3 columns (9 tbls) w/o overlap on any display that has full-hd or better resolution.

I still recommend buying a 30" w 2560x1600 res, I for sure love mine - one of the best gear-investments I ever made. I hate resizing the tables.

Edit: re, 20 tbls. On a 30" u can have 20-tbls resized to minimum tiled w/o overlap

888Rep could you tell us more about the possibility that Facebook would offer real money poker games and that they would be partnering with 888? Those rumors sure made me drool. If you get people playing for real money and we could play against them on the 888 software I'd instantly forgive you for capping the table limit to 8, I wouldn't even care about the waitlist bug or the no-rakeback.

Has anyone else noticed a new and unwelcome aspect to the omnipresent focus steal bug? I've found that tables have started to pop up not only when the action comes on me, but also when anyone types in one of the shortcodes which lead to the icons, rather than text conversations, appearing (eg, "ty", "fu", "nh"). I don't really need the new icons anyway- would happily see them disabled- but it seems mildly insane that I have focus stolen from deciding whether to raise a BTN open to see an icon of a bunch of flowers. Or is it something 'special' about my set up?

yes ohhh yeeees... Ive noticed it.. WHyyyyyy did I update my 888 client.. There is NEVER antyhing good coming out of it..
lesson for life, if an 888 client works OK, do NOT update it for any reason...
last "focus steal bug" took like 2 years (??) to fix.. and now its back..

888rep PLEASE we all know your powers here are limited... we ask you to "fix" this and that and your answers are like "if it was up to me of course". Yeah we know you have a good heart but we also know that the ppl you work for doesnt really give a crap...
100+ ppl asked last 888rep daily to fix the focus stealing bug and it still took like years.. now my request to you is:
please just provide us with a download link to the last version of the client that doesnt have this issue..

That focus steal is surely an easy bug to fix too
