Yeah I agree, the microstakes rake is extremely high nad rakeback is disgustingly bad but it doesn't look like 888 has any plans of changing it.

You could try calling them and asking. If you go into the cashier there should be a pop up with a support rep and they usually offer a bonus to depositers so you can also try that.

According to this package accommodation at the palazzo is being valued at $500 per night. A quick check online reveals that a standard "luxury suite" from 3rd-9th July costs $296pn including all taxes and fees. I could only find one room - the "sienna suite" which cost over $500pn. im in my last sng of the day with the chip lead when my internet goes out for 1 minute, this is long enough that i get kicked from 888, i go to re-open the site and apparently there is now an update i have to download, and its just like the last one that takes FOREVER to download (talking hours here) and im gonna guess by the time i get back on the guy wont still be waiting for me


why does it take 4 hours to download an update? last time i waited for 2 hours and thought something was wrong and reinstalled and lost my notes

This is what keeps 888 as the best site to play at on IMO. Even if you aren't getting any kind of bonus straight into your account, I'm sure you are benefitting highly from this process if you are a withdrawal only type of player.

There's no need to lose notes when upgrading...

Save the playernotes.ini somewhere else and replace it after the upgrade.
Or open the original file in notepad and copy-paste the notes into the newly created file.

Bonus-tip, w/ HM2, Excel and notepad it's pretty damn easy to have ERRY 888-player that exist in ur db color-coded / tagged as a rec or a reg (based on their VPIP for example) w/ just a few clicks.

The upgrade should only take a few minutes guys.

notes are at the same place as the hand history. Just copy the whole folder before reinstall.

I don't have a problem with the site choosing a lavish hotel (although I would prefer, like about 80% of people according to a poll on twoplustwo, to have a cheaper hotel and higher % chance of winning a package). I don't have a problem with the site not passing on any of the group booking discount they get. They are a business after all. I don't have a problem with the rate the site uses not being the best rate that one could find by looking at price comparison sites or searching for voucher codes. What I do have a problem with is the site charging more than the standard price that is available on the hotel's own website.

If people decide to enter a $1000+50 sat paying 1 package per $15K in the prize pool I think it is realistic to expect that all of the $15K is accounted for. Would the 888 rep care to comment?

The best thing to do is to give support a call and ask them if thier doing any reload bonuses at the moment.
