This could be a problem unless you let them know in advance so please call or email them about it. They may ask you to send your proof of ID but at least you will be in the clear.

CORRECTION:

SNAP is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Portuguese and Russian.

It is not available for MAC or Mobile yet, but that will, hopefully, come soon.

Let's say that Chaadsta won that hand and stays in the game. He would presumably post the SB in the next hand. Does that mean you would post the BB again for the second hand in a row? Seems odd to me.

Hi All,

After having a win this week on 888 I decided to make a withdrawal. The only option currently available to me for withdrawal is to withdraw to a visa debit card which no longer exists since I switched banks.

First I emailed support and received the auto reply saying someone would get back to me within 72hours. I wait 48 and decide to phone instead.

The first consultant, Ameena, told me I must make a deposit with a new card before I can withdraw. She would not answer any other questions and just kept on repeating herself very rudely insisting that continue listening to her. After asking numerous times to speak to a supervisor she finally agreed. An hour later a supervisor, Audra, returned my call.

Audra also repeated the same information to me; in order to withdraw any of my winnings I must make a deposit. I asked her very clearly "are you telling me that the only way for me to currently withdraw my money to a valid account is to make a deposit?". For some reason instead of just saying 'yes that is what I am saying' she repeated the long winded spiel about how she was going to forward to transactions to cancel the invalid card and then I could make a deposit etc etc. I asked again very clearly "Can you confirm the only way for me to currently withdraw my money to a valid account is to make a deposit?"... again the spiel. This happened no less than a dozen times, with much frustration, before she finally answered "No, there is no other way for you to withdraw your money without making a deposit" and yes I did clarify that that means, no bank wire, skrill, poli etc. I asked her if they were trained to repeat themselves over and over and she said they were as it is meant to "reassure" the customer. So frustrating! I guess they assume all customers are stupid and incapable of conversing.

My position is clear; I won the money fair and square and I would like to withdraw at least part of my winnings. I should be able to access my money without being forced to make a deposit. Aside from the exchange rate fees that would be incurred, I believe it is unethical practice.

Some people might say just make the deposit and be done with it, but I don't see why I, or anyone else, should have to. What if the person trying to make the withdrawal has no money and that is why they need to withdraw, it's a real possibility. Anyway it's the principle of the matter.

The 888 withdrawal policy explains that by making a deposit the card details will be verified and then the card will be available for withdrawal at a later date. It does no state that should the initial verified card be cancelled/invalid you will then be required to make another deposit before you can withdraw your money.

I will probably just transfer to a friend for the time being, but any advice on how I might get a valid withdrawal method attached to my account without depositing would be appreciated. Also any suggestions about how to get 888 to update their withdrawal methods and customer service would be helpful.

Seems absurd. OP is my girlfriend. Customer support was incredibly rude to her, and having no withdrawal options for a verified, active account without making an additional desposit (especially when 888 charges vig to deposit and withdraw on exchange rates in the first place which in itself is a borderline scam) seems ridiculous.

Witnessing the conversation firsthand, it would appear that 888 customer support seems to be rude and incompetent to a degree I have never seen from any other legitimate poker site. It took something like 15 minutes for their support rep to answer a simple yes or no question 'is there any way to withdraw my balance from 888 without making another deposit first'

Their policy of not allowing a cashout without depositing first using whatever method seems absolutely absurd, in this case it is literally impossible for her to withdraw without making a deposit. What if her 888 balance was literally her entire net worth? She would be unable to access it at all. This shouldn't be possible for a major poker site to get away with. Worth noting is that her account was funded by a deposit in the first place, just the card she used to deposit no longer exists. What if her account had been funded via account to account transfer? Is there literally no way to withdraw from 888 without making a deposit?
