hold on so i spent the 2nd half of 2013 getting over 50% of the way to VIP and now my progress is completely wiped out and set back to 0% because the new year started?

this makes zero sense

you say if i make it to VIP in Oct then i would maintain VIP until the next Oct

then how would my VIP progress be given effectively zero value for 50+% from july to dec 2013?

Today, I naively made my first deposit here with skrill without reading the currency exchange issues here first because I've never experienced charges like this before. My skrill's currency is USD. I deposited about $800 and was charged more than $55 from money being converted from usd->cad->usd. Is there any ways to get this charge back as there was clearly a mistake

That message you get usually comes up if you logged off while registered in a game that you maybe forgot about and didn't play. Are you sure you didn't log into maybe a couple of those big freerolls ie VIP rewards etc and logged off.

Can you please sent all the details to support adding your poker user name and support ID number.
If you don't know what your ID number is then press F4 while your in the poker lobby and a pop up will appear with all the details. If you can take a screenshot of this or copy it then send that.
Also can you send them your computers specs as this will help them as well.

Yes, but you have to understand why 888 games are better than games at other sites. You don't want 24-tabling nits grinding out $200K in rake per year. That's $200K of fish money that has been converted into site revenue. 6-table max and poor incentives for very high volume players are reasons why the games are as good as they are.

you have a solid point, but the difference is so huge between vip and vip diamond that it should either be lowered or simply removed, 6 tables max will turn off "24-tabling nits grinding out etc" anyway.

Does 888 (Poker) also take 3 months to cash out winnings like the main 888.com? Dual sub machine gunning their cash out department might make them move, otherwise if you win big be prepared to wait an age for your money.

Potentially stupid question but this new 'big bang' promotion is not restricted to Hold'em cash games right? I can get points by playing micro-stakes Omaha even though it is obvious that is a massive advantage over Hold'em?

Having a tonne of money available with just a password seems like a security risk. Sure I have secure password, but some kind of two factor authentication would be nice.

Just to let you know that something is in the works and should hopefully be implemented in Q1/Q2 of this year.
