My objective has always been to make money. Good table selection is right at the top of the list of reasons I've consistently made good money playing poker for the better part of a decade.
I have no issues with table selection, bumhunting, or whatever else you want to call it. I've never once said that you have to start tables (I exclusively bumhunt 1knl+) or you have to keep games going after the fish leaves (I'm constantly leaving OK games for better games on 888 because I like money).
I only have a problem with scummy behavior. You can use your "the objective of poker is to make money" line all you want to justify table camping, sitting out when a fish sits out, seat hopping, grimming, etc., but that doesn't make it any less unethical.
