Forgive a noobish question but why do they camp on tables? What is the advantage?

I assume this has already been covered but I warn players about the 888-group based on a few things.

1) Very selective support. I had an issue with them, contacted them several times over the years regarding the issue (will mention it below) but with no luck.

2) Shady affiliate people. They are pretty famous within the affiliate industry to be very shady people, rarely responding and being very unpredictable in general.

3) Odd behaviour. This argument obviously need further explenation. I wrote about the story before but me and thousands of people claimed their 888 casino bonus which offered 200$ and via blackjack the EV of that bonus was about +175$. They paid everyone out but afterwards they banned all of us even though it was clearly within all the rights of the bonus and t&c. Normally I wouldnt care as long as I got the money but now with a mobile client, a kinda big network + some half-interesting vip-deals then I wanted to get back and play. I told them about the story and said I would only play poker. They said no. Then I said that I can even pay back the 100ish$ or 200$ish i got from that bonus even though I didnt have to and they said no. Talked to some people that have connections but they just say that it is impossible to solve issues with them and that is why they tend to avoid working with them.

I guess all in all stuff like this (not might sound frightening) will show you that people in charge are morons and perhaps something similar to FTP will happen.

I know that 888 had a webpage where you may find an evidence of clearance the bonus, like welcome bonus or other types of bonuses and you could see in chunks of 10 $. Now that page doesn't exist anymore, the only option is that you ask an operator to tell you how much you've cleared the bonus.

Why on earth you don't have that page anymore?

if i get the $400 first deposit bonus and want to withdraw say $200 one month in after clearing $100 of the bonus and my account is at say $800 am i going to be voiding the remainder of the bonus?

I believe 888 poker owned by cassava have several issues with their servers and network because I am receiving time-outs on servers, have multiple in-browser disconnects, I believe it has something to do with javascript host and java.The underlying problems with my pc seem to bear no malware/spyware etc.

Hi ,This one is from my personal experience with 888 cassava.

I have 2 screenshots here to post of tourneys that I have won/placed in for cash yet I receive lesser amounts .It seems I win amounts on the browser based software but then I am given lesser amounts .This happened the other day but has been frequent on many occasions before in the past.

The above picture clearly states the same tourney id number as the one that paid me $5
yet when I finished the game the place only awarded me $3.50 ,total contradiction as to what was placed on the tourney itself.

888 clearly have something wrong with all their softwares ,even the download I cannot put on my computer as it says the download is unsafe to use on my local network .

what have you got to say 888 rep? please by the way ive been a member for 4 years.
I also maintain that pokerstars has genuine downloads and genuine "verified publisher" as its download but 888 cassava poker does not , and neither does it have secure download or certificates to say that the program is safe to use.

Totally differently run in comparison to stars software.

1 thing to note chat host of the 888 poker program of the west! Im a guy who has spent 4 years on the site , spent over $5,000 playing the games ,Ive played the horse race challenge main event over 10 times never actually won the event in all that time ,and I have won nothing but this lousy chipset and frigging tshirt they offer. It wouldn't matter anyway merny complaining because you get no-where, the gaming commission in gibralter have already been sent a whole downloaded pdf filed complaint form as to my 1st complaint ,hand written to the commission and not even so much as an email.
Secondly since their rep/hosting/affiliate site chat host ,since these people are based in new York or some other random inadequate place then theres no much chance of me playing here any longer, All my support issues have not ever been addressed ,they said there is a technical team ,they have not replied and as far as I know have done nothing to fix any such problem in 2 years since Ive known them .

I feel it is now appropriate to let the poker community know why I am asking you this, thus:

The reason I ask is because I know some players that are now on their 3rd or even 4th accounts with your network having had their previous accounts banned for collusion. I assume they re-register under different email address, or even as different people...or perhaps they slip the net by being banned on 888, but open a new account on lotospoker for instance. When you are a regular and know the styles of certain individuals, it does not take a rocket scientist to spot these players if they return to the site.

The question is, how are they able to re-register and play? Surely if they were banned before, they should be permanently banned? I wrote to support on this matter, nothing was done, (either support too inept to spot betting patterns, or they just dont care) and said players are still able to play at your tables.

I dont think this is right, and this should not be happening.

So, how do I complain about your inept support staff who do nothing about this case? Is it the Gibraltar gaming commission, an email to Brian Mattingley (CEO of 888 holdings), or some other avenue?
