Make sure that all transactions with 888 are in USD. If your "default" currency on 888 is something other than USD, you can contact them and they will change it. I use Skrill to convert between my home currency and USD, or you can let your financial institution do the exchange for you since you're always transferring USD.
It doesn't solve the 1-time problem of what rate they'll use when they buy-in for you for a live event. But what's the big deal? If I wired 320 USD to the casino, I wouldn't expect a good exchange rate and I'd have the transaction fee on top to that.
