Iv emailed them my post they sent back a generic response

thank you for contacting us and expressing your educated and informed views on 888poker. Feedback of this nature is precisely what we relish since it enables us to evolve and adapt in tune with our customers needs.

Should you feel the need to offer further constructive criticism of this nature, I would strongly urge you to please do so, since with-holding this would only be to the detriment of our loyal customer base.

Maybe if more people emailed them they might listen? I doubt it though.

Iv been told there's an update coming soon maybe it will be fixed it that, we can only hope.

I wonder if any VIP+ guys have emailed? I haven't been playing this network long enough to be vip but should be in the next month or so. Something has to be done.

Regs refuse to play any hands without a fish. so most tables break with 6+ waitlist.

No one can start tables so they hope on wait list of good games so they become 20 deep. Fish busts on that table, games breaks with 18people on the list. It takes 20mins for it to go back to normal.

Once it does, that's the only table anyone can sit on, so 5 regs are watching for a fish to sit. When they do it snap fills and waitlist gets longer.

Its got so much worse recently. Even peak times i cant play any hands.

If this simple thing was fixed, the liquidity would be so much better. Better games, more rake for 888, less of a predatory atmosphere for the fish.

This is absurd for Monday night

Think my time at 888 is coming to a close.

I cant be the only one who feels this way, does anyone have a VIP manager they can sent this stuff to. Support in the client dont have a clue

i emailed my vip support about this waitinglist bug sometime last yeahr in september i think. also in some later emails i send him i told him about the problem again and again. the only thing he could do was to pass it on to the people responsible for the software. but as we all see nothing has happend yet.

that is really a joke in that time every stupid donk could have learned to program and fix the problem

Why the f*ck are you joining a waitlist that's 21 players deep?

If it's a 6max table I won't join the waitlist if there are more than 2-3 players on it as theres no point. I won't get a seat until the fish busts.

Edit - Lol since typing that someone else has joined the above waitlist. 22 players now ^ Well done guys.
you would be surprised how often you get on a table with a fish on it, even with that long waitinglists. that is because of the bug, sometimes it wont allow 20 out of 21 people to sit on the table...

Lol maybe I have been giving up a lot of EV by not joining these waitlists then

I am not a software guy, but the only thing I can imagine is that this is not so easy to fix. Why? Because 888 software is old, really old. There is'nt a lot of difference with the software comparing it to when i first started playing 8 years ago. The lobby and the tables look quite the same. My best guess would be that they have to build a completely new version from scratch. And as they are not the fastest, this might take a lot of time.
What I don't understand is that 888rep here cannot give any information about this.

I read that 888 will be launching in nevada fairly soon. Can you elaborate on this?

This is true - 888 is ready to go, but I think something has to be approved first/final license approval or something like this.

As far as I am aware it will be an "all american" network - suggesting that it will be like 888.es for spain and non US players wont be able to join them... I could (and hope) that I am wrong though - a traffic boost would be awesome.

If you google "RNS news for 888 holdings" then you will get some more info - 888 holdings is on the London Stock Exchange and so news updates on this are available.

Hope that helps

Do you experience that often 888rep, that you send them feedback but just don't hear back from them until multiple months later? Or not at all?

Don't you find that slightly unprofessional? What is the point of having a "rep" here if the feedback is not listened to and action taken. Just feels like we are being paid lip service.

The more I find out about 888, the less I like them as an organisation!

I would like to suggest that the rep's suggestions taken from this thread should be acted on as well as passed on.

During the football last night there was very little waitlist problems, games were decent, easy to start tables.

Once it finished and more regs logged on, problem started again. 20 deep waitlist. I went for some food came back and couldn't take a seat anywhere so quit for the night around 11pm.

No, that's not true. Only the player with a qualifying hand needs to pay for the Jackpot to win it. The caveat is that at least two players need to play the jackpot for it to be enabled. So say player 1 and player 9 posts the JP bet then player 1 can win the JP regardless if player 9 sees the showdown. If player 1 is the person at the table paying for the jackpot then his JP bet should be returned and no JP awarded even if he goes to showdown with a straight flush.

I don't really get that rule though, because sometimes when I started FR JP tables I get a recreational player but then he sits out telling me I need to play the JP and no game gets started. Why couldn't he play the JP for himself and I just shrug when I hit quads and don't get the 500 bucks... Obv it would be in everyones interest to get the game going.

Here are the rules if you are really interested:

Ah thanks for clearing that up.

Yeah I have had a rec player tell me that he won't play me hu unless I play the jackpot too and he then leaves when I refuse. Pretty annoying as it only takes a few hands till the table fills up usually.

Maybe I just play the jackpot when playing him hu to keep him happy. 50c per hand can't be that detrimental to a hu winrate vs a drooler I guess.

i leave it on most of time just in case a good game is running. 888 is the only software that does that. they are very aggressive with their software.
