What I think is happening is that 888 overloads the CPU/GPU by running too many things on one core / inefficient resource usage.
If you don’t play more than 8/9 tables of specifically MTTs, you shouldn’t expect to see the problem. If you do play many MTT tables you are getting this crash frequently. This is the differentiating factor. Unless you play 9 + tables of MTTs then posts like “not happening to me” aren’t relevant.
Can any other players confirm this? Several players have mentioned this issue. It seem like once you have more than 8 tables on 888 these issues occur.
So the moment you open a 9th table, every single time, the tables all freeze. Then you need to force close the 888 client. Then reopen it and log in. After you log in, the tables will slowly pop up but take a while. You will then have to wait a while before all the tables load. So say there are 9 tables now. I believe there wouldn't be any issue... as long as a 10th table doesn't open up. So when 9 tables, if you bust out of a table and 8 tables. Then you open a 9th table, the same exact thing will occur every single time.
So say you have 9 tables after force closing the client and reopening it and log in. You didn't bust out of any of the 9 tables. Then say you open a 10th table. The same exact thing will happen where the tables will all freeze and you have to force close the client and reopen it and log in. Then once logged in, it takes a while for all the tables to load. Then once it does, you could play 10 tables. But if you were to add another table, then the same exact thing will happen again every single time where you have to force close the client and reopen and log in again. The thing that is confusing here is why did 888 add a whole bunch of tournaments to the schedule if it still have these software issues? Look it's great that you want to add more tournaments to your schedule but you have to fix the software issue first. What is the purpose of adding 20+ tournaments and even more satellites to these tournaments if anyone who wants to play most of these tournaments and or satellites will have these issues the moment it is 9 tables or more?
